  1. I agree , I like Cav , but I don't think he can beat Kittel or that Aussie youngster , I forget his name. However, none of them will even come close to Cavs records or medals, not even close. Cav was untouchable for many years .
  2. Great news. I think we will be seeing a few good African riders over the next couple of years
  3. The pros are nailed for test all the time , increased test will aid in recovery and lean muscle gain which helps, also the short estered testosterones are believed to retain less water and could also easily be stopped a few short weeks before competition and not be picked up. Test also increases red blood cell count, which is great for endurance.
  4. A lot of these substances are banned in COMPETITION , but not in the real world , and therefore a recreational cyclist caught using say Clenbuterol ( which is an asthma medication actually) is not breaking and sporting federation laws. A lot of things people use day to day are "banned substances " for pros but perfectly legal to be using if you happened to be a recreational rider
  5. I love it and I will be buying one to train in just to piss off all the whingers who have an issue with people riding in team kit. We have a real world tour team , Africa's team, and they will be genuine stage contenders. Go team Di Data for Qhubeka . I personally cannot wait to see the first lead out train pushing at the front and sending Cav man off for high speed finish. come on 2016
  6. They agreed to stay on cervelo and apparantly Doug Ryder said on super cycling that Cavendish had a requirement that they stay on cervelo .
  7. Funny that you picked them for stock holding as they are one of the shops that has the standard answer of no we dont have it in stock but we can order it for you.
  8. Dealers couldn't have been doing a great job. I tried for ages to get hold of a swift attack in my size. No one could help me. This model is great for the brand , and I think we will see a lot more Swift Carbon bikes around
  9. It's the out front part I'm desperate for for my suunto. Almost ready to get an edge 25 unit for bike specific reasons, but it feels like such a waste. Think I'll hold off a little while and look for one of these.
  10. This is great. My next bike will certainly be a Swift Carbon
  11. thanks specialized but I'll stick to cyclefit.
  12. So basically there are cyclist that get free passes and the lamest excuses are are accepted(like an irresponsible pharmacist) , and others that get hung out to dry? Sounds like SA sports federations for sure. Well done CSA, knobs
  13. First mistake: walking around bare foot at Sabie.
  14. Regardless ,he is a tit for even having it. And a syringe in a cyclist possession when the rules state it's illegal is definitely smoke.
  15. I have never felt so sure , a month and 2 weeks now and my mind is so set. Before I felt like I was missing out by not smoking, different this time. Almost feel bad for smokers. Hope all are going strong
  16. 3 weeks for me tomorrow. Going well, I think the best part is this time I don't feel like I'm missing out by not smoking, now I know I do t enjoy it and it's actually crap being reliant on smokes all the time
  17. Good to see they respond quickly. Stuff looks decent. Will hold out to see the new tops, but all in all looks good.
  18. I always loved my smoke after a hard ride, somehow made the lungs feel "good". But now I don't like anything about smoking, biggest thing for me is how much it grinds me that something can have such a strong hold over me, my mind and my body. Think that's what helped me decide to quit
  19. 5 days and feeling good. Mind is strong and happy to not be smoking. The worst is over now just to stay here.
  20. Went pretty smooth actually, not too bad thanks. Had the odd craving but a few minutes and it's gone.
  21. Today I made it through day 1 of the second round of quoting. No drags this time.
  22. Can't wait to see the lads in the TTT in full kit on those bikes doing it for Africa.
