Mark tyre and position on ground...push bike till wheel goes through one full revolution and mark ground where mark on tyre reaches the ground again. Measure the distance between the two marks. Remember to put some weight on the wheel to deform same as riding. Remember even a millimeter is going to make a BIG difference in the final output !!

Mine set at 2085......... you might have to reduce slightly as I'm running 2.2 GEAX which are pretty big and fat ! Check even ere tyre pressure is going to make a difference !

Nuthin' to do with the rim diameter..............its the outer measurement of the tyre! Easy to measure radius or circumference.

Size of the hole in the rim.............Schrader valve with the larger hole weakens the rim more than a smaller hole would. But then again the lower spec rims have a larger hole for the Schrader and a plastic grommet inserted for the Presta, so the rim is already weakend no matter what valve you are using.

Richwood area ? I use tt area and down along the power line for training dogs for tracking and searchwork. Unfortunately a bit to close to DeNuun....be careful !

Those security guys at the entrances to the harbour can get difficult at times ( tks to the Yanks !) In theory one needs a permit to go in/through.

JIK =Active agent Sodium Hypoclorite 3.5 % MILTON= Active agent Sodium Hypoclorite 1% Dilute JIK 1 part to 3 parts water and you have ?the same sterliziing agent as Milton but much cheaper. Add a bit of salt (Sodium Chloride) then you the equivalent of Milton (16.5% sodium chloride).
