    Richard did my first bike fit for me. Sorted out some knee issues and felt a lot more comfortable on the bike. Haven't been to him since he moved from Cyclefit, but I'm seeing him on Wednesday for a fit of my mtb, so we'll see how it goes.

    My first pair of Sidis, courtesy of Hot Spot Cycles having a ridiculous discount on them. Always found the Sidis to be too narrow in the toe box, but the Ergo 4 Mega is wider than usual. Welcome upgrade to my Fizik R5s, which I've been feeling flexing more and more lately. The weight includes Shimano cleats. About 80g heavier than the Fiziks but these have carbon inserts and feel better constructed.

    Must say, Evo has impressed me. Needed some through axle adapters that I heard they may be able to help out with. Shot them an email late Sunday night. Friday morning before 9, Janos sent me a response indicating they have stock. I asked for a picture to confirm that it's the right thing, which I got a few minutes later. They sent me an invoice and later that afternoon a parcel was on its way to Jhb. Granted, I also ordered some bits from CRC on Sunday evening, which arrived at my office on the same day as Evo's, but that's more due to the courier than the shop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Have to say, my parcel was packaged exceptionally poorly. The box was big enough for a bike, with a small clump of bubble wrap stuck in. My expensive fork, brakes, bike stand, all must've bashed against each other during transportation. Not their usual standards.

    Yesterday morning u received a notification that the parcel is going out for delivery. To my office. Where I'm very much not at during weekends. I phoned up Dawn Wing, shouted at them some, and they arranged to deliver to my house late afternoon, which they did. So all is sorted now. Except that the Novatec thru axle adapters that I had, seem to be incorrect and now the front wheel doesn't fit the Reba that was delivered. Couple of mm of horizontal play. Bit sad about that, but hopefully a different adapter can resolve it, or a rebuild with a different hub is on the cards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
