    Yip, have an Ant+ dongle on the laptop. They're not too expensive and it gets all your info into one spot.

    I use a Garmin Ant+ cadence sensor along with my Garmin 520, Wahoo Kickr Snap and my laptop/phone (Trainer Road/Cycleops virtual training). Both the Garmin and the laptop shows cadence?

    Well, that frame is only available in 23" which is too large for me, and without a shock.

    Busy ordering something through Janos. What a pleasant surprise to find out they don't expect me to pay until they actually have stock. There are few things as annoying as a store only trying to place an order after they've received the funds, only to come back to you with a 2 week delay in them receiving stock of whatever you ordered.     Fair enough. I don't mind paying for something worthwhile, but paying a premium for something purely based on brand erks me. If the Garmin is the way to go, then I guess it's just a matter of finding someone with stock at the best price.

    Has anyone bothered to connect their trainers to a computer? I'm looking for a suitable USB dongle, and believe either Bluetooth 4.0 or ant+ should be suitable. Just not too keen on dropping R900 on one of these things, which is what I've been quoted for a Garmin unit.

    Need to get an ant+ or Bluetooth 4.0 dongle for my laptop. Seems Android isn't as well supported as Apple and Windows. Plus, the bigger screen would be welcome.

    I don't know. Haven't actually tried breaking it. It handles 12kg or so without issue.

    Look at CWC's version. Picked one up for something like R400 and it's actually pretty damn well built. No idea how they got it so cheap.

    I have KinoMaps but I still need to give it a bash. Don't have a Ant+ dongle or any Apple devices, so ZWIFT isn't an option at the moment, unfortunately. Very keen to give one of the climbs on KM a bash on Thursday.

    I just did my first FTP test on my new Wahoo Kickr, using the Cycleops Virtual Training app. Is it just my imagination or does the trainer seem to try and hold you to your guesstimate FTP? I set mine fairly low as I had no idea where I am, and for the love of all that is holy, I couldnt get it to go more than 8W above that value. I ended up properly running out of juice towards the end and my power went way down. It really felt like the trainer was fighting me. Going for a free ride directly after the cool down, I felt somewhat comfortable a good 40W more than my guesstimate FTP value, and that was after killing myself during the test. My imagination only?
