bad weather so decided to go into the paincave. Ftp test done after about 3 months, a good improvement, from 222w to 251w. Weight has also gone up so that's a problem, but sitting at 2.71w/kg. About 3 months of solid work to put in now for Amashova.

Gym visits usually take a day or 2 , and sometimes never show. Probably a problem that has to be resolved by Virgin Active.

The one thing I don't have from Discovery is the vehicle insurance and the tracker stuff... would be heavily penalized for my driving.

definitely not a bad deal for what you get. will work fine with a small SLR and a medium sized lens like a 55-250 or 70-300. You can always weigh it down as shown in the pic with a bag or extra weights if you shooting on uneven surfaces or on a windy day.

Hahnel make good accessories so nothing wrong with quality there. it is a ball head, so you just have some good control from it. Just spend a few minutes to get use to the tension control on the head.

Thanks Its almost impossible to set up a tripod on a game drive vehicle that's the only reason I shot handheld. What Tripod are you using ? I found that when using a 3 way head its really a pain to set it up when shooting subjects like the moon. A ball head works much better for something like this. The 55-250 is still light enough for the hand, but if you don't achieve a fast shutter speed then you have to stick it onto the tripod.

yip all about the smoothie. oh and cash backs which have just landed in my account. I will still ride my bike, go for a run or go to gym anyway so this doesn't push me to do more to get the rewards. We love freebies, human nature...
