  1. well Kulula's website is just as crap as the Disco app so this is probably the reason why it's taking this long.
  2. So clear problems with GC on my side. Activities from 1 & 2 June doesn't show but this mornings ride has gone through already...
  3. Maybe it's the vivoactive then. First time I used it for a ride instead of the edge. Did sync to GC mobile so will just wait it out.
  4. GC to Disco delays again ? Activity from today not showing yet and its usually immediate when the system is working properly.

  8. True, no need for it to happen quick. On those changes, why would they go back months later and change the beta ? Not complaining as my index improved by 7 points but just find that strange.
  9. Well I found that reply strange as I've been reaching the goals every week. 2 x 90 min rides and a gym swipe to get my smoothies... done !!
  10. It did take them about a month to get it updated, was also checking every few days. was all a waste of time for me... no improvement in seeding edit. on another note, I have just noticed that they have adjusted a few of the Beta's for Shova 2015 / R4S and Emperors. maybe other events also.

  13. Canon 5d3 at iso12800. Rather have some noise than no image at all. Cleans up well though and still usable.
  14. Francois, it really comes down to shooting technique and lighting conditions. Yes IS will help with a stop or 2 , but not alot more. And I don't agree with the statement about it being better during the day. I used the Canon 400l 5.6 for some years and it didn't have IS, got some of my best bird and wildlife images with that. Now with the Sigma 150-600, I shoot with the IS off as I find it slows down the tracking ability of the lens. Same with Canon 70-200 f2.8 mk2.
  15. Medical aid... life insurance... short term insurance... Does it really matter ? If you don't trust them then find another insurer... But then the other doesn't give you free smoothies and a free apple watch so you will just put up with Disco's sh!t.

  19. The watch deal is good. It could be free, or it could just cost you a few hundred bucks. As long as you not taking it to be your main training tool then you will be fine.
  20. see answers below. and probably another indoor session tonight, and maybe a 35km/700m ride tomorrow morning. My week is then done as I'm traveling from Thursday and only back home on Saturday evening. Also not showing is a gym session from yesterday.
  21. If I was in JHB I would have taken part in your test.... Usually no warm up as I have to take on hills just 1km from home. Now that its cooler, I spend about 10mins on the trainer before I get out and then another 10-15 minutes once back home. My heart revs like a N/A car without the VTEC.
