  1. and according to the latest Bicycling only R 280.00 a tyre for Racing Ralphs' date=' which I happen to like a lot. [/quote'] I would love to see that price in the shops. That will make it one of the cheapest out there and all know Schwalbes are not cheap. Racing Ralphs vary between R435 and R600 depending, best at Westdene. Believe in them like granny on a spit very grippy, sidewall is a bit iffy though second tyre that my sidewall went.
  2. That it is Great Minds, did the same with my bike, took my worn in Selle and my a$$ thanks me after every ride.
  3. NiteRider Is that a Selle Gel Flow saddle I see?
  4. Thanks Guys, will do. Previous LBS moved away so dont have much of a relationship with current and it shows
  5. 1cm Cut, pretty clean on the top of the sidewall of Racing Ralph's. Can it be fixed? I was thinking that I can patch on the inside with a small piece. LBS says it will unbalance the tyre, but I think it is so small will not do any harm.
  6. Agteros: Kan u pm me I want the file of the route for Sunday. Anyone who wants to do the external gps thing let me know I have one lying around. Messy with two units but will get you going on Sportstracker. Nokia has some cool stuff, try the Ovi site as well.

    Helmets

Bell Sweep, Got a Spiuk Nexion, has a net inside and if you take it out the attchments inside the helmet rubs against your scalp irritates the living $h!t out of me. My Spiuk helmet is for Sale now.
  8. Veet, the green can. Throw that plastic razor away and just rub the hair off with a cloth in the shower. Used to get waxed and could not cope with the pain.
  9. Did some deals, bought some stuff, no problems. Maybe we should get ratings like ebay as buyers and sellers and use that is indication if we should be dealing with that person.
  10. Not as great as we all think, Prices are same as in SA except DVD's, CD's otherwise all the same. Really nice is the cars, not to buy but to check out/scope since we're on a car topic, Oh yeah and Matt is the rage no metallic stuff, u buy ur Ferrari and then have a matt paint job done.
  11. Just some clarification on what some hubbers asked/pm'ed or stated: Fundacious: The GPS and battery life are phone dependant so not knowing which model you are referring to? Fulmenecilus: The phones currently that are GPS enabled are N78, N95,E90,6110 Nav, 6210 Nav. and Bateleur is right you can view live. Also some other stuff that Nokia is doing is check out the OVI site, similar to Facebook with Unlimited Media storage.
  12. PM Me if you guys want the nitty gritty I work for Nokia, so my comments would be prejudiced, but will gladly advise.
  13. Please help, what is the way to replace my Sele saddle witha Fizik saddle as the length is different. Should I use the measurement on the railing, is that standard? or is there another way?
  14. When I spoke to Shaun in this week he casually mentioned this, This unselfish deed will one day be rewarded . Shaun you ROCK!
  15. Thanks everyone for the advice, my question came from the fact that I found that Xmas Cake only sustained me for a while then almost felt if I was Bonking probably need to eat consistently, will use Sean?s idea and have a recovery drink after the ride even if it is an LSD ride. And I forgot about the Baby Potatoes, but think that they take affect later similar to Bananas? Thx to Rookie101 for the offer, next time for sure. Then to the Bully Beef disciples-DOUBLE EEEUGH.
  16. Napalm: did u confuse the cycling forum with the other one again www.soberrecovery.com/forums? E1A104, Thanks will get.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> mrmed only 1 word for you EEEEUUUGH, probably works but ???..nee dankie
  17. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have to do the dreaded/boring LSD thing this weekend and next for 5+ hours. Any ideas on what I should be eating. I use Cytomax and Cytomax Gel, but need solids. Used to eat Xmas Cake but cannot find anywhere.
  18. Agree with you Homer, then at least I can get up and think what I did wrong.....very much like a self help book. Now at least I will know why I've fallen.
  19. Thanks Renier and DB, just had a look at Alibris.com an online second hand book store. Books are 1 Euro but then 18eURO for shipping. Can never win and then of course the Import tax even if it is second hand SARS dont care!
  20. Thanks Titus, looks like you are the only MTBer that can read
  21. Hi can anyone recommend a book on MTBing specifically the techniques and technical stuff. Not too interested in the history and glossy pictures of scenic rides-just the how to stuff.
  22. Hi JM, Hope A gets better quicky, she seemed in good spirits when we contacted her after you phoned us. She is a TAAI Tannie/Ouma.
  23. HR, they pay per injury, so for the whiplash I get R.... and for the hip I get R....., etc etc. Nothing for my bike. It is pretty much how banged up you are, is how much they give. I will only hear in August but the talk is R30K for the whiplash only and the rest we will see. At least I was lucky after reading about another fatality I guess the fact that I am stil alive makes the $$ seem insignificant. Based on Delgado's advice I have spoken to the Lawyer and he now seems more keen to pursue a civil claim.
