  1. You still have to specify the items if you want cover away from the house or your cover is limited to 20% of the Sum Insured of your contents. If you want full cover, you still need to specify the items. Naked is cheaper cause you deal with "Rose"and do everything in the app , and other savings from a traditional insurer.
  2. Based on the app, you still need to note them separately (items over R5k)?
  3. Anyone compared these to the Finch bibs perhaps. Also found those a bit tight over the shoulders
  4. Also note that what's on the website is not necessarily available in the factory shops. I popped into the Northcliff shop and couldn't find the right sizes for the twins. (I should probably just order online)
  5. Ended up getting a 16". He's very impressed and already riding unsupported. Just needs a little push to get going
  6. Spotted the Giro bike on Instagram [emoji106][emoji106]
  7. Not entirely true. Most policies have clauses stating items more specifically insured elsewhere is not covered under the current policy. In your example, you won't be able to claim for your bikes under your HH if they are insured through Jasure. (the assumption is that you don't have your bikes and HH insured on the same policy)
  8. Thanks Chris. Sage advice. Nice 14" bikes seems like hens teeth. He's just over 100cm tall and his inseam is about 35cm. Short legs long torso!
  9. So the other question is do I skip the 14" and go straight to 16"?
  10. His twin sister refused to ride until she got a pink "girls bike" (her words). Second hand is definitely the preferred choice
  11. So the little man is now telling me that I need to take him to the bicycle shop and get him a pedal bike. I'm looking at the Avalanche Storm (14),which seems ok. Any other suggestions? And, do I buy new or second hand, taking into account he's probably going to outgrow the bike in less than a year?
  12. Shealth doesn't show up under the devices /apps (for the ones that are connected to Disco on my profile). Just seeing Suunto.
  13. I noticed my S-Health info is o longer syncing. But if I try and link it, it says its already linked to a Vitality profile (I have changed phones in a year so this is not a new phone issue)?
  14. Recently bought a LS shirt during the OneDayOnly sale. Sizing chart showed a Medium, but my wife just laughed when I put it on. Emailed Coivita and they told me to speak to ODO. ODO didnt have a size Large for me to swop out. Coivita then said they can possibly exchange but I would need to post/ courier it to their offices. I rather returned it for a refund.
  15. Finally got a chance to get my boy onto the Spruit. The Feva Starseat still works great. Saw quite a few out on the trail, including a dad with a Starseat and a Giant Halfwheeler in tow. Kudos!
  16. Please, that would help. Appreciate it
  17. We each have a Feva Starseat on our bikes, the idea is to go ride as a family, but mom is not comfortable doing it yet. I end up doing rides first with the one twin and then with the other (who is usually the one that wasn't interested in going for a ride in the first place). The second one always end up telling me to go faster, not understanding that I'm knackered from the first ride. Our suburb is not flat.
  18. The Pain Train! :-)
  19. Mine still gets on their plastic bikes every now and then, although my boy is starting to ask for a pedal bike. (I'm getting rid of the plastic this week) He's now suddenly also using the brake on his balance bike (instead of dragging his feet to slow down) when I told him the pedal bike will come when he can show me he knows how to use his brakes.......
  20. Anyone used /using a Giant Halfwheeler?. Mrs saw one being used at Emmarentia and asked me if it's good? From what age can it be used?
  21. Having a real struggle to get my boy a helmet that fits. Originally got the twins matching Bontrager helmets, had to return his as his head was too big. Got another one that fits but it keeps slipping onto the back of his head. Got him a very nice Spez helmet, which fits but now the straps are too short.
  22. What bike is he on? Need to start budgeting for a pedal bike for mine
  23. Any suggestions for a helmet that will actually stay in place and fit like a helmet should? Bought a Bravvos helmet but the thing keeps slipping onto the back of my boy's head, no matter how I adjust the straps. He's a bit of a bobble head, head circumference is 51cm (they are turning 3 in 3 weeks)
  24. Thanks, I have thought about using some old road bike tape. I also like the hose pipe suggestion.
