  1. Sorry I meant diameter [emoji28]. Normal grips diameter is wider than these would need. Diameter is +-2cm
  2. Normal grips are too big/wide. Diameter is smaller than usual - will measure bit later
  3. Any idea where I can get some spare grips for these? We have 2 bikes and the grips are starting to perish. Might also need a replacement saddle.
  4. Seems motorcycles are also allowed [emoji848]. 16 min up an 18km climb.
  5. Attempted my first race this morning. All went well till 500m in. My avatar just stopped next to the road while I kept peddling like a hamster. Had to stop race and restart but by then everyone was almost 2km up the road.
  6. Yip, just use Trainerday to select a workout and send it to Rouvy. If you are deadset on using Zwift workouts, its fairly easy to replicate a zwift workout using whatsonzwift and trainerday workout creator.
  7. Wow!
  8. Truely sad news. Spoke to 2bliss numerous times when this started. Karmi and her brother came into NICU days before my twins came home. RIP lady.
  9. Edit - Deleted Sunscreen reference, sorry guys
  10. Recently found Trainerday. Great workouts, started doing some by sending it to Trainingpeaks which then shows up in Rouvy. Still trying to get my head around Golden Cheetah, haven't been able make any sense of it yet
  11. My Rouvy sessions lately only starts around 9/9:30...... ????
  12. Any suggestions on knee and elbow pads for an almost 3 year old? Either that or mommy is going to put my boy in bubble wrap before allowing him onto the next balance bike (progression from plastic balance scooter to mini bike with rear brake)
  13. Check out the Feva seat (Sportsmans warehouse). Works in all bikes and the twins love it so far. I'll need to get a second one for mom's bike soon.
  14. Try Eagle Canyon Cycles. I think they were expecting stock last week
  15. Ended up getting the Feva seat from Sportsmans. Kids are loving it so far. Now to convince mom to let us loose on the Spruit.
  16. Getting them started young. Bought them matching (Pink and Blue - very gender stereotypical ) Bontrager helmets that supposedly fits from 2 - 4 years. Apparently my boy has the head of a 4 year old so I had to move up a size! He's already very brave on his little scooter - at what age would a balance bike be appropriate? His sister is much more circumspect. Looking at something like the Feva seat or Thule Ride Along so I can start taking them one at a time on some (gentle) rides. Would the Thule work on a duallie?
  17. Anyone looking for a soft bike bag? Haven't used it in years. Inside has some tears in the lining but this is superficial and doesn't affect the protection. Pm your number and I'll send some pics. Collect in Jhb, wouldn't want to post this thing.
  18. Didn't Trek have a bike like this a few years ago? Edit: Carver Bikes had a 96er (29 front, 26 back) Carver says that a bigger front wheel and smaller rear gives you the best of both worlds: fast acceleration and smooth rolling through bumps.
  19. I usually use both my Suunto watch and the Samsung Health app while spinning. Last week, the suunto workout would reflect with 300 points, but then disappear with only the SHealth activity showing, after it synced overnight. Their Suunto intergration seems a challenge. I got an SMS stating that they will allocate points backdated to 10 July (or something like that), doubt you'll suddenly get 4 weeks of "pick a tile" though
  20. It looks more like the post on the Weight Weenies forum
  21. I got points last year or the year before (definitely not above 60), maybe it's changed?
  22. Same if you currently use a suunto ambit 1 or 2 apparently. You have to email suunto SA to get a work around
