So it's six am now? How fast are you guys planning on riding?

Everybody, like myself, who connect to the hub through Facebook has their avatars pulled from facebook avatars. This could be your issue, sometimes things go awry between a 3rd party site and facebook, so not everything can come through. This is mostly true with images. It could be that your connection slips while facebook is trying to send pics through, or there is too long a delay. Or facebook is blocked on your side. Not saying this is the reason for sure, but it's a possibility

Also, I know Rosemary hill, but do you guys have a map of how you plan to ride there and back?

This is a weird question, but do you guys have some designated meeting point or something. I was vaguely looking for you guys, and the drinks and stuff, but couldn't even remotely figure out who was just mates, or who was having a hub meetup.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread a bit. Do you use both strava and endomondo on your rides? Or do you use one or the other. I dig Strava's segments thing, but hate the screens they have in ride. So I just stick to my Cyclemeter, but it has no segments.

I ride with normal lycra and board shorts too. Works 100% for me. However, it might only be because I am 2m tall, but sometimes the bottom of the shorts catch onto my seatpost quick release. Only sometimes though. Maybe the shorts are too long, or wide, or whatever. Either way, just make sure yours won't do that. Otherwise, it's awesome.

Just bought a spinergy MTB wheelset. red spokes. also went tubeless for the first time with them. Love them.

We usually go there. Lot's of tar and dirt road riding. A nice dirt road network there, you can explore if you have a map of the area. I heard rumours of a bike park near JBay area, which is just down the road. My riding experience there was always a bit dodge though, that wind. Sometimes you get it right, other times you cycle 40km home in a howling headwind, where you granny ring downhills.

wow, that's close to my house. I wonder about security though, that area is usually quite dodge. Do you have any more info on this?

I stand corrected. I did see a guy come down the mountain yesterday, close to the highway side on his bike. I thought He just went to go look around up there. Hmmm. As jy wil kan ons dit saam gaan uitcheck sometime. Sodra my speke reggemaak is.

I had a look before. I don't think so. Even if there was, it would be so steep and gnarly all of the time.
