  6. Just tried to enter my family for Mabalingwe Lionman. Be warned no under 15 year old may ride 40Km, 'cause of new CSA rule introduced, not organisers. My three boys have all done this, more than once, but rules are rules...
  7. Gotto agree. Take the Sweep. Howzit CAAD4
  8. Stadig oor die klippies ou bees! Not all roadies are the same. We rode from 04h00 out of Edenvale, noticed mist and changed our route for everybodies safety. And we're from the East nogal! Some okes are really trying to improve the situation.
  9. I want to add two more bottle cages to our tandem. Can anyone around Joburg do neat job. Ideas on neat bolt-on system?
  10. I'll just ride my old Raliegh with old Dura Ace and not cause all of you to fight like this when I drop my chain and come 11547th in the 94.7. (Did I miss something?) LOL
  11. Post or PM me pics (multiple angles) and I'll see if I've got. Have too much raleigh spares.
  12. Hey GT, Your spelling is typical of a Bulls Supporter! (From the biggest Bulls supporter on the hub) Enjoy!
  13. There's no such thing as a perfect and generic diet. Stop stuffing around, spend the bucks and see a Sports nutritionist, such as Karin Paquay. Together, you will: Measure current status Set (for your specific needs and ambitions) goals and realistic targets and soon you'll see measurable results. I did this and now the "diet" has become a lifestyle, keeping weight under control even when not prepping for a race. What a pleasure!
  14. Keen to know... Did you get sorted?
  15. Give Cliff @ Cycleart a call, maybe he can sort you Find his detail in the Pictures forum
  16. Finally - the SA Air(missing)link mechie is spotted.
  17. I've raced and trained with both. Gatorskins make sense for the average rider who would rather finish without puncture. GP4000S with Black chilly is lighter, rolls and handles better, but has shorter life. I enjoy being able to change tubes on GP4000S without the use of tyre levers. Good option in the middle is "normal" Grand Prix with polybreak, from Conti. Try 24mm if you can find. Can't find article now, but tests have proven, slightly wider (24mm or even 25mm pumped at recommended pressure gives rolling resistance same or better than force and attack sets at 22mm and 23mm. I have incidentally also used these, but that little rubber scares you when sprinting and it shifts from side to side.
  18. Ask Lance if he know me!
  19. M.U.L.E. - no question!
  20. I've seen it! He's got to show it to the rest of the world!
  21. Nasty potholes, couldn't organisers stick some fill as a temporary fix?
  22. My trackpump popped a o-ring after about four months use. Took it back to Tony Impey. Got exchange and upgrade at NO COST! He's a legend on and off the bike!

    Mooi man!
  24. Have to agree on Sidi quality. Mine have been abused, done a Mazda series, Epic and all training for both. They now have some "houding". Had to replace the replaceble sole (got SRS from westdene cycles, within about ten days) Brilliant shoes!
