  1. Well she is the best performer with a proven track record, winning Mayor of the year in 2008. She increased Cape Town gross geographic product by 12% within 2 years and reduced the city's debt by nearly 1 billion and reduced unemployment in the city. Allow her a bit of freedom to firstly get the WC right then hopefully the rest of South Africa
  2. Pretty school boyish, worst thing Zille can do is react and fuel his ego.
  3. Sportracks works fine, i cant get comparetracks to work with my 705.
  4. I have the 6110 navigator, battery life is not great using sporttacker but for short rides up to 2 hours it's good.
  5. Another hint find out which bank the buyer uses. For people claiming to have paid using EFT's, EFT's from one bank to a diff bank never reflect the same day unless the person making the transfer is willing to pay an extra premium which 99% they not, so if someone banks at a diff bank and makes a payment and that payment reflect same day you can be certain that he has made a payment at your bank using a cheque. scotty2009-05-09 15:00:27
  6. An sms is merely a notice that movement has taken place on your account. Always make sure that funds reflect as available balance which is the sum of cleared funds and not current balance which can include uncleared funds. If in doubt go to an ATM and look what the available balance relects on your slip, if a cheque deposit has been used the it wont be included in available balance until such time as the funds have been cleared.
  7. Fancy wheels for a training ride.
  8. FSA have real problems with support in SA, took me 3 weeks to get a silly crank bolt from them last year. I dont know if they have agents in SA anymore. scotty2009-05-09 09:43:09
  9. I got some stuff from my mate which the Sasol chemists make to clean their machines, but DONT USE Sunlight dishsoap, first hose the bike then use paint brush and tooth brush, dry oil and i'm ready again. You could also load it onto the back of a bakkie, go to the car wash and get bike and bakkie cleaned all at once. scotty2009-05-08 06:51:03
  10. Saw him earlier when he dropped off the beanies, almost did not recognise him.
  11. Got mine in the post today, very slim but i liked the article on Shimano's new electonic group set and the article on softail vs hardtail has been covered before but was worth reading again. Other than that not much else.
  12. Not only Bicycling, i'm still waiting for my copy of a recently launched magazine, subscibed and paid 17 April and was promised it would be posted, followed up twice. Nothing received by last weekend, will check this weekend. Why make promises if you not gonna deliver.
  13. Nice pics's with descriptions.
  14. At least this poll does not have the gobbleygook excuse of shaving cause wounds heals faster, if that were the case you would need to shave your arms as well.
  15. Evolution will eventually make us all hairless, mankind centuries ago had far more hair than today as the climate was so much colder. Until then i'll be known as hairy legs.
  16. Take note DR that's a wise statement
  17. V brakes are fine for SA conditions, they have even achived top 10 position at the Cape Epic (Trek 4500), as mentioned easy to maintain and with quality cables and pads will do the job.
  18. Waited 3 months for mine and got it begining April, last week i got a call from a cycle shop in CT telling me my lic is ready for collection at their shop
  19. Yeah also think its photo shopped, the specatators in the background dont appear to have a reaction, unless they all so used to riders somersaulting.
  20. I had home owners through M&F and found them excellent, unfortuately our company switched all our policies.
