Lowracer thats pretty much as i understand it as well, except for the cyclosport where unless its one of the classics such as 94.7 and Argus you are eligible to ride in the lic category if your seeding qualifies and there is space.

Merit in what you say about him being passionate Greyowl, recall how he used to hate to lose at mini football. You appear to be equally passionate so I hope that you find common ground and that getting cyclist's onto track is the winner. In the days of the supercycling chat forum there was mention of including a short MTB trail, which together with the BMX track would attract a lot more kids and other riders.

Dont know Greyowl and perhaps some of what he says has merit, but i've known Grenville since he was a runny nosed kid living next door to me and played mini football with him. I've been to the track on my road bike a few times and coughed blood but was made to feel welcome by him and the other riders. They included events specifically for those of us on road bikes, advertised here and elswhere unfortunately not well attended, but he did try.
