  1. Some hate them some love them, i have 2, 1.5L and 3L, seldom use the 3L but when i do i put all the tools and spares from my saddlebag (gasp yes i do ride with one) and leave it at home.
  2. Take it to the garage, remove the valve and use their pump, works every time for me.
  3. Been there 2x since new opening, both times happy with price and assistance.
  4. Similar to mine. I do agree that they can do something, 2002 when they had the heat wave they temporary stopped the race but allowed those over 7 hours to get results.
  5. Seems the only results for 2014 recorded by racetec in excess of 7 hours are Kh (hand cyclists)
  6. Cyclelab have no choice, the official repairer for Jhb and surrounds is Navworld.
  7. I doubt Cyclelab will repair an item such as this, as mentioned more likely sent to Garmin or rather NavWorld who are the service providers and quote would have come from them.
  8. Friends place, they usually not allowed on the beds but they were dead tired and fast asleep so i let them lie a bit.
  9. Nikita and Titan, exhausted after spending the day running and swimming at the Vaal dam.
  10. My Geax have around 2500km and Maxxis Crossmarks 3000km, both still looking good. Quite surprised with the Geax, it appears soft and reports iv'e read claim its not long lasting particularly when riding tar.
  11. My 3 dogs are all strays/unwanted. Some say they lucky i took them in, but it is I who is lucky to have them, I'm taking them to the Vaal this weekend for their 1st holiday.
  12. Change your LBS, mine does it on the spot and does not charge.
  13. Which has Sora equipped components
  14. If you can get to Cyclelab in K90 there is a MTB group leaving 6:30am Saturday catering for all levels, ride to Emperors and then do laps so you can go at your own pace and do as many laps as you feel and BCC is also very good option There are other MTB groups such as BP but they are not newbie friendly as they are quite racy and require a good ave speed.
  15. Did the guy that sold it to you know it was a fake or was he also duped. Not much you can do anyway seeing as the sellers emigrated.
  16. I'd take 3 hours hard cycling any day over 3 hours hard soccer, rugby etc. Never been stretchered off with exhaustion from cycling but have from a rugby game, not injury but collapsed from exhaustion.
  17. Cycling does not even feature http://uk.askmen.com/top_10/sports/top-10-hardest-sports_1.html
  18. Toughest i found was playing soccer and rugby, sprint slow down, sprint slow down. There's a reason why its only 80 min.
  19. You can also ride Emperors laps which is part of the Emperors MTB route. Group usually meet every Saturday 6:30 at Cyclelab K90 and head out for about 2 hours,
  20. Did my 1st August on a Makro special, ended with both wheels wobbly, crank pedals bent, only able to select 1 ring up and brakes stuffed. Never again.
  21. Mate of mine has a pair of seal skin gloves he got from overseas, warm as toast but breathable so your hands don't sweat.
