With the exception of my DS all my bikes cost less than R10 000 new and all with mix XT/SLX. I did finish 8th in the 20km Heidelberg Golf Course MTB race a few years back though

How many other riders would you have beaten IF you had been riding a 40-50k bike.

What if there is a plug or 2, this could also affect it.

Bikes are good my preference would be Silverback but as mentioned get strong wheels, i previously had Alex wheels on 26" MTB and was forever replacing spokes, changed to DRC and have not even had to true them since.

I have the 800 and never use the cadence and rarely the HR, maps are nice for on route direction or when i'm tired of looking at how slow i'm going.

DC found it otherwise Once satellite acquisition is complete, you’ll be ready to go. I found this to be the fastest acquiring Garmin unit I’ve ever tested it. Every time I turned it on – including the first time, it acquired within 3-5 seconds. Really astounding.

Course is looking good, did 2 laps on yellow and 1 on green. Bit congested on 1st lap but after that it was nice and flowing. Beer and eats at the end made a great morning in the saddle.
