And that is why all our best riders are leaving the country. If south africa's "trademark" road race cant even set the example of how we should look after our local guys then what future is really being paved out for our development riders that the ppa is pumping money into. It is like putting someone through college when you damn well know that there is going to be no jobs for them when they qualify. And if you are lucky enough to finish very top of your class then just maybe you can work overseas for a few years but otherwise you pretty much have nothing. If the big races start looking after our locals properly the effect will trickle down into other leagues as well. True that!
