  1. You might want to get that checked out by your GP.
  2. That dude is bad-ass! Cool photo.
  3. I ♥ Specialized saddles! Specialized Phenom Gel on my MTB; Specialized Toupe Ti on my road bike. Both in 143 width. The Specialized Format 130 that came on my MTB was so uncomfortable - because it was the incorrect width for my butt!
  4. That was awesome.
  5. Wicked! B)
  6. **** me that's not cool.
  7. More mileage; fewer Big Mac's!
  8. Yes sir. I'll don my weather cap and report on what the weather looks like later this afternoon. I can see the mast from the parking lot here at work.
  9. I don't think there's a limit on the number of cyclists that can cycle there. As long as you obey the rules of the road, I'm sure it'll be fine? According to my Garmin, I did about 22km's inside the reserve. That's from the entrance, to where I took the photo and back. Thanks - wasn't aware of that!
  10. I'll jog up the main hill with my road bike and then hit the single track on the way down! Taking cross-training to an all new level.
  11. Road or MTB's?
  12. Thanks Bos. Reply from CRC:
  13. No complaints with the XT crank I bought this year. Then again, didn't have any complaints with the previous one. Just that the XT looks so sexy!
  14. Diep River - 100.45km's in total
  15. My first ride in to Cape Point. It was pretty sweet on the way there, but the wind (North Westerly) on the way back was a bitch! http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs298.snc4/41247_158541154156655_100000023151223_535332_6034162_n.jpg It's nice taking advantage of the 12 entries to Cape Point (not sure where else) that you get with a Wild Card. 16. Hey guys I've got my eyes on this set of Mavic Crossmax ST's, but I'm confused with all the different options available. I have a pretty much stock-standard 2009 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp. I guess the only important part on my bike with regards to this query is the fork: Fox F120 RL. As far as I am aware it's the "9mm open drop-out" version. The alternative being the 15QR thru-axle system which I'm pretty sure mine isn't from the photos I've seen. So, essentially my question is: "Black 24h Pair F&R 9/15mm Front" <- why does that option mention 9 and 15mm for the front wheel? I have emailed CRC, but I'd like to hear some opinions from anyone on The Hub who may know. Any input on this topic would be appreciated! Thanks.
  17. Sweet! Thanks for letting us know.
  18. 20 psi front and rear for me. That's with Specialzed The Captain Control front and Specialized Fast Trak LK rear. But then again I'm a lighty (62kg's).
  19. I think that S-Works Stumpy needs Captain Controls.
  20. A flat bar would mean you can are allowed to use bar ends.
  21. And make sure they're for the correct rotor type: 6-bolt or C-lock. Unless you want to upgrade rotors or buy an adapter...
  22. As much as I like the weight (or lack thereof) of the American Classic 26 MTB disc/tubeless rims and their cheap price, their strength leaves me with doubts in my mind. I have the stock DT Swiss 420SL's that came on my '09 Stumpjumper and I'm pretty happy with them. i.e. haven't had any need to change them, aside from the "I wish this was lighter" urge to upgrade.
