Hi budy because it is a holiday town there is no shortage of accomadation in Toti it all depends on what you want to pay, but I can recomend Happy Days 031-903-6283 they are nice and central close to shops resturants and pubs. 3. (My 2cents) 11 - 25 works well with a compact crank. With standard crank 12 - 26/27
  4. Take a look at the LOCKTITE product cataloge they have a product to stop bearing drift, just make sure which one you use otherwise they will be a burger to take out.
  5. I have seen on races like the Paris Rouibax the bike mac's normally double tape the handle bars, and some of the roads we ride are just as bad so beef up your handle bars padding run a tad lower pressure and change hand position frequently.

  8. Its redicculose when a 10 year old's bike weighs more than an adults bike, especialy when you take their weight in consideration a 25kg kid riding a 14kg bike is similar to an 80kg adult riding a 45kg bicycle.
  9. Lets try again -- I have had the same problem of the tire delamanating pity cause I impressed with its performance!
  10. I did a bit of research and turns out Alibaba is a haven for scams, they will send you shiping certificates, sms landing dates etc, but at the end you will never get your goods. So be careful.
  11. As far as I know there is no difference between Rd and Mtb but there is a small diff between top and bottom pulley. top pulley has ab 1mm of play so as to be able align itself with the gear. Then again I have installed them the wrong way round by mistake and could not detect any shifting difference.
  12. On the Jo2C the subject came up, and one of the mac's counted then 5 cracked carbon and one aly. If you take in consideration that most of the field where riding aly frames makes you think hey.
  13. From my exp and reading of reviews :The type of shock you have at the back will affect the ride quality more than the suspension type, also look for a shock with a lock out and pro-pedal setting.
  14. Do you think Raleigh have regressed with the 2009, I ask because 1)It has more moving parts = more things to go wrong. 2)Trying to reach the rear shock udjuster magig now is more difficult.
  15. In an emergency at the race - And this does work rub some mud on the rotors, In fact one of the top DH rider use to this to break in new break pads.
  16. I wonder where engineers get there ideas from - Why has raleigh marathon gone from a simple pivot design to a more complex 4 bar design with the shock mounted behind the seat, when most manufacturers are going to a direct actuation as seen in Merida, Spez, Dale etc , When cannondale has gone from behind the seat to under the top tube... Ishhh
  17. Kosmonoot you can halve the measurements if you use a vernier, and it will still give you an accurate indication.
  18. Can any one help me, I want to replace the seals, So I need the work shop manual or a diagram, so I can take it apart. I have worked on shocks but this one has me puzeled?
  19. Since the original topic was ab SLIME I will tell you of my exp - I recently did a tubless conversion using non-t tires and since I already had a bottle of slime I tried it. Well after many trips to the service station and fidling because it was leaking at the valve,I bought some Joes because thats all they had -put 80ml was a bit woried when I noticed how runny it is, and success at last. I used to believe that slime is slime what ever the brand not any more.
  20. True Smaller caset will have higher wear, but will be better on flat fast races because of the close ratio. Look at what gearing you use the most then look at a gear calculator to see what ratio will suit you best.
  21. Just to put a spanner in the works! -- from a weight point of view it would be better to keep the 3 blades and go for a 11 - 27
  22. I know this subject has been covered but is Is ATF fluid to high a viscosity for a scott rear shock and rock sock front?
  23. Gripshifts are only 40-50gm lighter. I have just installed mine they change sweet and you have less clutter i.e. leavers on your h/bar esp if you have lock outs for front and back.
  24. Thats what I thought, I have seen those spokes snap like spagheti!
