  1. Hi!! Road groupsets? Are you all out of Ultegra? cheers
  2. Cool, thank you for the response. So it does not seem completely hopeless. I am trying to get some rims in, but CRC does not stock them and I cannot get locally. Wiggle has, but they offer limited shipping options. And it seems that even the "Tracked delivery to South Africa by courier" goes through SAPO according to their support person via chat.
  3. Hi, I was wondering if anyone cares to share their experiences with ordering and delivering of international orders that have to go through the SAPO. Specifically orders placed from about Feb 2015 to now. From the UK (CRC or Wiggle) both seem to use Parcel Force which seem to end up at the SAPO. Are orders going through at all? Trying to get a feel for if its worth putting an order in.
  4. wait. so a guy on a full sus was quicker through a slightly downhill rock garden than a guy on a hardtail? WOW! who would have thought?
  5. listen, this type of thing is getting quite boring. Not stopping completely at every light is one of those things. Just like all of you have gone above 120km/h in your car (on the GPS not the clock) on the N1 (or where ever), not everyone is going to stop and get off their bike with both feet firmly on the road surface for more than 5 seconds every time and light turns red. Haters gonna hate.
  6. Is this a JHB problem me thinks? Leave the idiots to do what they want, if they get run over then we don't have to worry about them anymore? This back and forth between motorists and cyclists is starting to get old.
  7. Would have been nice, but +-R400 plus gym fees is a bit steep for me at this stage. Anybody know of a place in northern burbs to swim that does not require me to join a gym (similar to pool at top of long street) or maybe reduced fee for swim only?
  8. Like KERS from F1 but for bicycles. If you add regenerative braking type thing into mix then it could get interesting. Think this would be way worse to get caught doing than 'normal' doping, because you would be literally caught red handed with your pants around your ankles type of thing. Standing there trying to explain why your bicycle can paddle itself. I just want to know who designed and developed the system and how much they get paid to keep quite (if it exists). As for the remote... dead simple, you could put it in a shoe if you wanted too and operate it with your toe.
  9. How about trying to stay on the left of the yellow line?
  10. No it is here say from an editor of a bicycle magazine. Its cool to speculate, but still : "No it is here say from an editor of a bicycle magazine." I am not a fan and I am not not a fan, but I probably would have joined the ride in Scotland if I was there.
