    I fitted once 25mm tires to Mavic (non wider rims) Looked like deep section wheels...lol. As said higher profile but not wider. Friend of mine has a Propel. His Firecrest Zipps with 25mm tyres fit with no problem. That is because it is a wide rim which don't force the tyre upwards.

    Rims made for 23mm tyres.

    Best is to use a 25c tyre on a wider rim that is designed for a 25c tyre. Fit a 25c tyre on a normal 23c rim and you not wider, but actually higher with a balloon effect... What size rim are you using with this 25c tyres?

    We should enter a "Hub team" riding with Bikehub kit... Can look on Racetec if applicants for the team is as good as they say they are...lol Training can be done together on Zwift. I got dropped by my team last year on the middle of the "three piglets, but still managed to finished just under under 6 hours. So Gerhard and I. Who else is keen?

    Application completed. Can be wrong on this, but with such an entry price tag soon everybody will receive reminder e mails to still enter for the event as there is still limited places available…?. Something like all the Jock e mails I received from ASG…LOL

    Never seen I an e bike with my own eyes. For those who have and maybe rode one. Do you hear the "engine"? On the bike while riding, and will the rider in front of you (say on a single track or so) hear without looking that an e bike is behind him?

    Did I missed the forum / (News topic on front page of Bikehub) that Admin should have created for South Africa's most successful cyclist or what? As said on Super cycling last night, he really deserves more credit on his achievements. Great ambassador for South Africa
