  1. Buying thru the Momentum app you get 25% discount - Nandos then almost becomes normal price!????????
  2. With WW now onboard and Nando’s both giving cash back not so difficult to get to R500.00.
  3. Anyone able to answer this - money put in your money wallet by "spending" is this regarded as a cash deposit or do you need to deposit R500 into your money wallet each month to get point? Currently I have well over R5k in this wallet accumulated by "spending" but don't seem to be getting points. How do you withdraw money from this money wallet and can it be transferred to say Standard Bank? If this is possible - are you not just depositing the R500 per month to withdraw it again - that seems rather pointless? I get a way higher rate of interest at SB compared to the money wallet no point in using this wallet as a savings devise.
  4. For those who want to have their say on cycling (probably dog walking / jogging etc as well). Here the email address: lockdowncomments@cogta.gov.za. Comment must be in by 12:00, on Monday 27 April 2020. JGS - is an attorney
  5. This is from my Facebook page 18 April - president of CSA (Austin) - yes another one "Ciska Du Plessis AustinPeter WheelerI understand your frustrations. Had discussions about it with SASCOC again yesterday to request support. They are consulting on behalf of all federations with SRSA to consider that being fit and doing regular exercise contribute to being healthier. We continue to ask. "
  6. Only comment - I wish it could be 30km (point 4) - that's about 2 hours out and back (also get me to Cape Point and back 58km from my house). Point 3 I am sure many people would prefer 3 hours - I hardly ever ride more than 2 hours. Finally should PPA make suggestion or just leave it as exercise suggested by the president, let it be - and see if the President come up with restriction? That's a question! Seems I posted the PPA article under "Coronavirus and training outdoors"at the same time Press office post it in this new thread! Are they watching me?
  7. Trust they will all make it down those Swiss Alpine decent safely - somebody had to say it!
  8. I recall my broker saying you get bigger discounts for doing the fitness assessment - I am not sure if I am correct.
  9. Just chatted with momentum: "Hi Peter, the gym visits are delayed for this week, we are waiting for the file. Please contact Multiply Money on 0860 11 11 83 or MultiplyMoney@multiply.co.za for assistance" As for money app: "Please contact Multiply Money on 0860 11 11 83 or MultiplyMoney@multiply.co.za for assistance with the Money app query."
  10. Mine has not showed transactions since end of Jan - but I have noticed my wallet has more money since then. So think its registering the transaction in cash but not enabling one to check all transactions are showing. My Gym activities have not registered at all this week - Am I the only one with this problem?
  11. I had basically been off coffee from 4th December till Jan. Finally bought coffee for the house again yesterday after been using the Wimpy free coffee once a week. Also been alcohol free since Jan - trying to have a clean drinking diet - unfortunately my Health insurance company corrupted me to change that!
  12. Me too - soon it will be 8 in a week!
  13. My point also not showing between the 23 Jan and 31 Jan. Also healthy heart score done last Monday and no point showing. Not to mention Dischem Blood pressure machine has my blood pressure very high yet Biokinetics (for the fitness score) had it relatively normal with in 2 hours - and very similar to what the hospital had it in Nov lat year. But Dischem want to sell blood pressure medication?
  14. They have upped to from 3 active (Cal) days to 4 for me - I suppose in a few weeks I will have to do more than 7 active (Cal) days in a week!
  15. Does the Momentum week start on Sunday or Monday?
  16. I do quite a bit of cruising - travel is an exploration - if you cannot "roll with the punches" then best not to cruise. I am sure international guest (if there are any) are quite enjoying the fact the cruise ship has docked for days - floating hotel - gives them more time to explore Cape town. Good for Cape Town too more "real money' been spent in the area. Cruising normally only give you a very short glimpse of a place - for experienced cruises having more time at a port is an advantage!
  17. I don't understand why so many apps are needed
  18. Are you talking about Investments ans Savings cat - bottom of home page on app or something different? what is the savings wallet - where is that on the momentum app?

  23. 2009 the winning time was only 2:46 - I am very surprised at this years winning time - but in 2009 it also went over Boyes drive. On a personnel level I went about 1 min faster in 2009, but my position was 400 places higher somewhere in the 500s - 2009 versa somewhere in the 900s -2019 this years. Maybe it s been 10 years older or at least 10KG heavier! I would suggest 2009 the wind / conditions were a bit worse.
  24. Apart from the winning time / $ group which was only 2 min slower than last year - how they did that I don't know - that's some serious power in the lead group. I would suggest all other groups times on average would about 10% slow than 2018 so if you did a 3:20 (200 min) this year you would have maybe just gone sub 3 in 2018 weather conditions.
