    Sockdoping

i dabble in sockdoping, but i have enough normal socks not to warrant going FULL doper. so it is time for a purge - i will have lots of dull old socks lying about, so here is a twist on the thread: What to do with your old socks when you are off sockdoping - http://www.businessinsider.com/62-things-you-can-do-with-your-old-mismatched-socks-2015-6 #disclaimer - some of these suggestions are lame.....but some are good.
  2. @Sitting Slip - Dig the bike, what 40c tyres you get and where?
  3. I am one of the 98% happy customers, i too had an order that was "In Stock" but in fact out of stock, the way that buycycle dealt with the issue was proactive and i received expedient customer service, so thank you.
  4. and don't be an idiot like me and do it in the lounge.......
  5. i think this tune is kick@ss. starts slow and becomes beautiful, with a beat and a rhythm made for digging deep in a quad shattering gear. Good headphones and good volume you wont even notice the okes at gym staring at you while you molest the wattbike.
  6. i had "the" cold for the past 2 weeks. felt like crap, feeling better now but the sinus area is just not getting better. got gatvol of not cycling and started commuting to work again for the past 2 days - 1stly i feel way less fit, like i am continually out of breath, and man have i been working on my snot rocket skills. anyway i was cycling home last evening and going to be late for a dinner with mates. so i put foot, thats when i felt i wasnt 100% - it was like i was bonking, but without having any energy to have begun with.....like an immediate bonk. got home after 23k and i was Klaar.

  9. Hi there Guys, I recently bought the Body Glove BSport bluetooth earphones. they are cool and work well, but unfortunately not so well for cycling. I want to keep my phone in either a backpack or my cycling jersey back pocket, the problem is that the bluetooth connection becomes choppy because the signal doesn't do well traveling though the body (because of water content) so when cruising with my body/head more upright it is fine, but if i turn my head or start putting down some vavavoom (not that i have much) and my head drops like Froome the signal chops. When i need my beats the most it lets me down. and it is DAMN frustrating. From my research i believe that this problem will persist across all brands, so be aware of the limitation. Specifically wrt the BSport plus earphones, 2 things irritated me. the earpieces are unnessessary (and a hindrance if wearing glasses), also the length of the cable connecting the 2 earphones is not long enough to wear comfortably under a helmet and look freely left and right.
  10. That is clear thinking....OP i think you should follow this advice. the only consideration would be the type of area's you spend the 90% on - lots of glass? or having to do lots of pavement hopping due to dangerous route etc.
