ja decapod_crew, we all have eyes and some people actually use them, you were not accusing @ all so dont listen to people getting stroppy with you. i am always on the lookout for stolen bikes, not because i want confrontation, but because as a fellow cyclist i believe it is the correct thing to do, and i would hope that everyone is aware, but clearly some people think that it is normal for someone to look awkward as h3ll on a bike with the incorrect shoes for the type of pedals (that is my primary lookout sign). Bike theft is rife, and if a oke looks suspicious....i WILL do something about it (follow and call cops) So at very least well done for being aware and posting the question.

ja, doff thing is some motorists are so blind/daydreaming they dont even see a deathray or my SUPER lumo yellow jacketshell. i remember some **** nearly took me out to drive into a mcdonalds drive through. i pulled up next to his window (after cleaning my bibs out) and asked him if my top was bright, he looked at me all surprised, and said "Yes it is bright" to which i shouted "well then why the *^(# didnt you stop (i had right of way)" and cycled away in a huff. anyway pointless post, just wanted to share it, coz i am bored, thankfully my boss doesnt cycle.

hey all, so a question, I have a magicshine and it has changed my commuting life, what I don't get is the point of the stobe function. do people think that it gives "more" visibility. I am not ocd/add/adhd or any other acronyms (apart from maybe c.o.o.l) but the flashing really REALLY irritates me. my back red light has 2 flashing modes and constant on, I ALWAYS use the latter. and well I think that the strobe function would probably go well at a mine worker rave, but not on the road. the thing that gets me even more is the amount of people that I see riding with their lights on strobe mode. I look at them and a get a freaking headache.......... so for all of you that do this.......pray tell why?

Wonder Woman, what i did was trail the guy/s and call the cops, keeping them updated with my location, takes a bit of time but if you have a suspicion act on it. i did this twice i was correct once and incorrect the other time. i am a big guy, but i have been stabbed in the neck before, and i DO NOT want that happening again, so i totally understand your perspective, but if you have a suspicion i urge you to do something.
