  1. i think the dropouts have little raised edges around them sothat the wheel cannot fall out. i dont think it has to be very tight at all. and my QR lever is parallel to the ground and folds toward my rear wheel, fitting snugly around my air valve of my fork. If i had to put an effort index on it, with 10 being TOIT, then it is like a 3 or a 4.
  2. 5 years ago, broke up with my chick, was all over the place. Fattest and siffist i have ever been Spent too much time in the pub, then something in my head switched, i bought this bike from a co-worker and did my 1st argus, i am pretty sure that cycling actually saved my life.
  3. hahaha
  4. i just wasted 612 kb.
  5. 1 and 4.
  6. i am sucking at this. i am tipping the scales at 114. and i find it so so tough to get motivated sometimes. i really cannot see the reason to NOT eat that packet of chips.... and the worst of all i am not motivated to cycle....may that change soon.
  7. i am the same 113.4
  8. Rattylion, i wish i was 101......i will get there, and the hills will feel GOOD.
  9. hopefully they arnt reinjected breasts.... i dont like those.
  10. 113.5 for me. slowly heading south....lost 1.5kg since starting this thread. (this weekend i think i had like 8 burgers )
  11. i am an advocate of the KISS principle. eat burgers, drink beer get fat eat healthy, feel healthy, lose weight. apart from going on the p1ss every now and then, and sometimes (ok more often than sometimes) binge eating. i generally thought that i eat healthily, but if you spend some time googling, and then when you shop take 30 secs extra on each item and read the nutritional values, you will be astounded. One of my fav things are those little 50g (or are they 30g i forget) purple packs of peanuts and raisins.........until i looked at the kj that they have (i did that yest) i will not touch those little packs of heaven again. We also need to get into and learn the nitty gritty, but i think that it is far more important to understand that it isnt a diet or restriction. it is a lifestyle change, we are deciding to become a healthier fitter person, by overhauling your eating habits primarily. #Soppieness enabled i am glad that so many people are joining in on this, and i think it is going to be fun and frustrating, and downright irritating, but we are all up for the PERSONAL challenge #Soppieness Disabled As for weightloss. Last night I ate a huge plate of Ostrich Babootie and a large piece of RAD wedding cake + 4 heinekens and a glass of champagne.....and i dont regret it.
  12. 1450 kCal so far, and i still have my sisters wedding.........ooooooops on a different note i absolutely broke myself last night and this morning. and looking at Whiskers's spreadsheet (thanks man) i seem to be the heaviest fellow here (by 1 kg) Tonight, i drink whiskey and water. (maybe a Heineken or 2)
  13. time to bite the bullet perry. i think i am going to have to drink alot more beer on sunday night, to assist with "purging"
  14. Hacc, i dont think that is needed, as you will simply be competing with other woman, and not men, who cares if your percentages arent the same. a big happy family of carrot eaters.
  15. Blegh.....admin.
  16. OK Guys, so official weigh in start time is Monday 10/01/2011. this is going to be fun and tough, but i am sure that we can all attain (or get close to) our goals. Those who are brave enough are welcome to post progress pics, i would imagine once a month is fine.......and we dont need to see the added millimeters added to your mars and venus's
  17. Thor, put two bags of cement on their backs and see if they can still do it
  18. Hey LL, the problem with % body fat is its accessibility as you have mentioned. The body fat % thing at my gym doesnt work, (maybe my arm is too fat)
  19. Well i just went ahead and totally screwed up calorie intake for the day. By my calculations i am going to have to cycle home at 150% of max HR. Then go to the gym and spend 2hours on the spinning bike, and then swim 3km. f#*k, should have just said no to that toasted sarmie......but it was good, at least i didnt have chuckles with it.
  20. jas all these cheeseburgers are making me sick. And yes i agree, from a sustainability point of view the simpler this is the better. if you want to do this and you want to post 20 lines of stats then fine no-one will mind. But i am sticking to Weightlost % Weightlost starting BMI current BMI and once a month RHR
  21. you can call yourself whatever you like. 100 bucks say you look like a sparkplug.
  22. well Coenie, apparently for every 10kg's of fat you lose, your p#nis gets 1cm longer, isnt that a good enough prize?
  23. my BMI is apparently 33.2
