Had the same issue with SPD, love my Candy 3's, the Candy 2 I think is more than enough and even lighter than the 3's

I had a set of SLR's on a Merida 96, very strong and stiff wheelset. Sold my Merida, and I put the SLR's on my wife's bike, best 26er wheelset out there I believe, but that is just my opinion

Nothing against the American Classic. I have always ridden Mavic, SLR on my 26er,cosmics on my cervelo. Them I saw the Easton and decided it would just complete the look on my very black Niner frame. Thanks for the honest opinions guys,get yourselves a BELLS

Personally, I think the Mavic is the better wheel, but the Easton is going to look so HOT on my Niner

Gummi will they look nice on the black niner then as well?

I agree, the Eastons has the look, but reviews on them are very little

Hi Guys. Currently riding 26' Merida dualie, looking to upgrade to 29er in the form of a Lynskey titanium hardtail or a new Scott Spark Carbon. Any thoughts? I like the bling of the Lynskey and the fact that it weights almost nothing, but I am afraid of missing the dual susp on multi day events....
