Look, coming from a Merida fan, I would buy the Titus, but rather for R7500. The Merida is going to be new and nice for a year, then it is going to drop value. Whilst the Titus has already deappreciated, and rather increasing value as time goes on(because of riduculous single speed buildups etc). With that in mind,also look at 29er hardtails...

Race King does not grip enough for me,it spinns as far as I pedal. Prefer the good old school combo of crossmark and monorail
