Those mechanical discs are Nickc! Better off with the SRAM hydro discs but I still for the life of me cant get my head around liking discs on a road bike. That new entry level 105 evo looks awesome! Just change the Tiagra arches and you have a great bike!

I use mine for Marathon riding, stage racing and training with the kids. Great value bike and one you wont have to upgrade. Definitely not too much bike!

Thanks guys, he is super stoked! It is so pretty in the flesh I nearly ordered one for myself. Had to go perv over my CAAD until the urge to spend went away. I have a new resolution to not buy more than one Dale a year.

We are lucky enough to have two: Boulevard Cycles and Grabba Sport. Both are good. Bought the Dale from Frank at Grabba. Now just saving for an EVO for the Missus.

Got it from my lbs, they gave a good price and great service. I will take pics as soon as its built! I gave him the option of a full carbon Scott scale which was lighter and cheaper but he was set on the Dale!

Sorry for the hijack but I have to share: hey Nick, still haven't managed a flash for myself but I bought one (flash 2 Alu) for my son after he won his age cat at the Akkedis. Who says you can't live vicariously on a MTB! I'm going to drool over his ride!

One of my best rides this year. Very well organized, great water points and thrilling route. As a bonus my son won his cat on the 35 km. Well done to all of you who put this together.
