  1. Wanted to drop it into the Hello Gitty but the trembucker is too wide. So still looking for another pickup. Received some other goodies to upgrade her to a gigable guitar in the meantime. Might put the JB into a Strat.
  2. I've never been into guitar mods, but I found this Seymour Duncan Custom JB a while back. The start of something totally ridiculous and hideously gorgeous.
  3. Exactly, it should be the other way around. Forums like these won't exist without users and their input. But I guess if you feel that you need pay a sub out of gratitude then go ahead.
  4. I love 3/4 tights in the winter. You dont find them often, but I got a few Nike ones from their factory store a while back. Otherwise, the lady ones work just fine..
  5. Feel like a rebel without my livestrong border.
  6. I don't like NB either. Same reason????
  7. Not a big fan of Hoka. But I never experienced this. They feel like slippers. Unfortunately they run like slippers as well.
  8. Won't do too much. A nice high output pickup, locking tuners and a new nut. Will be one angry metal guitar.
  9. Latest addition to the collection. These are hens teeth. Been looking for one in mint condition for years. One or two upgrades and it will be a superb chugger.
  10. It just seems as if he is making a habit of not finishing what he started. Wrong gearing, too much coffee always an excuse.
  11. That would be great. Im sure someone can do a proper measurement on the route as well, he posted enough details online for that to be put to bed.
  12. 40s is huge, but again so many factors can influence this. We have to take in account it's an Olympic year, he is probably in the best shape of his life. And with all the frustration regarding the postponement he probably decided to go all out and prove a point. Everyone is pointing to the accuracy of the actual distance, even if its out by 50m he would still have gone sub 14. I've tested my GPS on numerous measured courses and it's always very very close to spot on.
  13. He can run a sub 14:10 5km after a swim and bike leg. I dont see any reason why he cant go sub 14 on fresh legs.
  14. Well he tried to run a marathon the other day. Someone picked him up next to the road after 30km.
  15. I see Strava removed the monthly running log from their free platform. Thats quite annoying. Anyone know where I can find something similar on the garmin app? My watch keeps a log, but I cant find it on the app.
  16. Everything you mentioned is what makes his run interesting. It go people thinking and discussing. Personally I think the run itself is pretty legit. The 4 turns probably made up for the rolling start. Keeping your pace and rhythm going around a corner at 2:45 pace cant be easy.
  17. Most definitely not. He is the biggest Nike fanboy. He will always be at the front defending.
  18. He was very vocal, now nothing. Some of the SA road runners are also not taking it very well.
  19. The doubters wanted proof, he obliged. Make of it what you want. The allegations on Twitter is rife. It's the fastest road 5km by a South African runner.
  20. This is why I find this interesting. Obviously Olympics is no more. But Richard seems to have gotten his training spot on. Must be so frustrating.
  21. I couldn't give a hoot if he is boasting or not, I'm interested in the run part. That said, he posted another teaser video about the run. Let's see where this goes.
