  1. In dont know wich one is harder, running with your face covered or running on the treadmill. Roads were quiet, only saw 3 other runners, 2 not wearing masks. I called 10111. My concern after 6 weeks on the treadmill was that my legs would feel a little dead, but it literally felt as if the ground moved under me. Weirdest sensation. And it was cold.
  2. A buff should be fine, I can run with a buff no problem. But I will pass out wearing a mask.
  3. Dont think we can get that locally. Im probably going to get the zwiftpod or maybe the Garmin 245, it links with Zwift as well.
  4. Do you have a link for the Runn or is it the Runpod you are talking about?
  5. He is Deadpool. In my eyes he cant put a foot wrong.
  6. Like I said in my earlier post, not much, but would like something a little more durable, stronger motor, suspension deck etc.
  7. The ending was just insane.
  8. Did you watch Uncut Gems? Soo good.
  9. I got 1 hour into Irishman. It was torture.
  10. Thanks for all the feedback, will look at all options. Im definitely getting the runpod. I currently have a very basic Trojan. Im really impressed with it actually. I did a 50 hour month so far including to 5 hours continuous runs and had no issues. But the deck is starting to wear and its getting noisy. But that is expected after 4 years. So will probably replace it sooner than later.
  11. He is not deciding, thats the nature of the virus. The old and compromised are most vulnerable.
  12. I'm looking for some recommendations on a decent treadmill, not keen on Trojan, Reebok etc. Zwift compatibility would be ideal. I was looking around online, but it seems that higher end treadmills aren't readily available to the public.
  13. If you read again you will see I specifically said run.
  14. The court must ensure that any changes to the court order is in the best interest of minors involved. They will also decide on the increase or reduction.
  15. No interpersonal agreement supersedes a court order.
  16. Its all up in the air. Best would be to wait it out until a proper announcement is made. Another week or 2 wont make a difference. Looking at the Facebook Comrades groups is clear that some runners already made up their minds, we will see them all on the road next week. If this is not managed correctly by the runners then next thing we see is running moved to level 2 of the lockdown. And Im just amazed how all of a sudden everyone turned into runners. I see people that never ran since grade 3 suddenly asking when they can go run outside.
  17. I read some reviews on it yesterday. Not very good, but you just convinced me to watch it.
  18. Well if we stay in lockdown for 3 years then maybe I can save enough to do TOM again????
  19. Sanctioned marathons anyway. I think we will see backyard marathons for some time to come. Unless the novelty wears off.
  20. I would like to try the Carbon sometime.
  21. Ive tried Hoka twice now. The cushion/weight/response ratio is just way out. They feel so sluggish and slow compared to everything else I use. And they just dont last. My Clifton 4s were literally falling apart at 300km. That said, if you want a shoe for recovery runs they are great, the cushioning, especially on the forefoot is something else.
  22. Why change if you are happy? Pegasus 36. Otherwise try the Nike React range. The odessy react is my new favorite shoe. Very stable and lighter than the Peg 35 and Zoom Fly.
  23. Since the lockdown I managed to stick to my training program on the treadmill. Somedays it's absolute torture, other days time flies by. I managed to mitigate most of the boredom by watching Netflix and YouTube. However what I started to notice is a very noticeable improvement in my fitness. My resting HR dropped 3 beats in the last month and I just feel much stronger and are able to maintain higher Ave speeds at lower heartrates. Is this because the training environment is so much more controled? If I do long Z2 runs I can stay in my zones for 100% of the time if I do intervals and tempo runs I can hit my target pace consistently. Im sure if I hit the road again I will notice immediately where the treadmill lacks, but its just an interesting observation. Oh and recovery is just so much faster, the treadmill impact is much lower, dont know if this is good, but I can no run 6 days a week where I normally took 2 rest days.
