  1. Bose for the win, bought my qc15's about 6 years ago and still going strong.(had to replace the ear cups). Use them for when I fly overseas. Goodbye airplane noise, baby's crying and the arbitrary cabin announcements. As mentioned in thread, get them overseas (amazon), as they are much cheaper there. You can also keep an eye on carbonite.co.za, seen quite a few going for a good price there in the past. Other headphones that rock are senheiser's. but to be honest havent tried the noise cancelling ones. Have a set of HD600's that I use all the time when im not travelling, they are awsome.
  2. Initially thought the army green was fugly as hell. But this pics a beut. Damn nice looking bike.
  3. My +1 Absolutely love her.
  4. So how do we determine if our registration was successful. I registered late last year and it has been suspiciously silent with regards to the following : "Santa Cruz owners club and gain exclusive access to invite-only events, product launches, riding days, demo sessions and many, many more value-packed bonuses." Have yet to see any of those....
  5. Im going to keep this photo for my Wife, every time she craps me out for a N +1, Ill point to it and say... It could be worse
  6. CRC is good but they ship via royal mail if using free shipping. Prefer evans.com , free shipping is always dhl and they are typically 5-10% cheaper than crc. They dont have as much in their store though.
  7. no. not sure what its is, got it from hatfield cycles, just asked them for a single speed chain tensioner and they pulled this one out the box. Works pretty well.
  8. Its a ragley carnegie. Picked it up on a sale at CRC a few years ago.
  9. My Cotic. Still need to get the Steel fork.
  10. nukeproof electrons +1
  11. Ive used virtual trainer (Has biggest end to end functionality and the best web interface , but has limited training plans) Trainer Road ( best bang for buck with hundreds of training plans, but hasnt got all the videos etc of Virtual trainer.) Currently using Zwift, which is also fun and has a few training programs you can use. Looked at todays plan but in my opinion is expensive compared to the rest. They all cost about 10$ a month and you can suspend subscription on them so no long term tie ins. Try them all , variety is good.
  12. no, kickr has built in powermeter.
  13. Finally local distribution, so we can expect prices better than chain reaction soon? Been ordering from CRC the last few years but with duties price gets bumped up quite a bit.
  14. good point, when using chain / wiggle vat is excluded if your destination is South Africa. If shipping in the UK you pay tax.
