  1. From experience due to the industry I'm in ... Batteries need to be shipped in a separate case to the bike. Battery case to be non-conductive and hold one battery only. Battery charge level must be well below 35%. If it's a Li-Ion battery, it will not be allowed on a plane, sea freight only. Lead-Acid batteries can go on a plane and must be accompanied by documentation from the battery manufacturer indicating that the battery is cleared for air freight / transport.
  2. On the topic of substitution... What is the procedure to follow when substituting "in person" at the Expo? Do both the Original Entry Holder and Substitute Rider need to be there, or can the Substitute Rider collect the original entry and then proceed to the counter to do the substitution? Their site / rules are not clear as to what steps need to be taken.
  3. I've shared this post with a friend of mine living in White River... Maybe he can assist with guidance etc.
  4. 🤣... exactly why I posted that comment. Same happened to me at that event.
  5. Or until that RFID chip fails ... I think they then swap it out at their cost.
  6. @Frosty, thank you for this. Where does the below values (Sodium Concentration information) come from / how are the derived?
  7. Maybe that is the combined number of the long and short events?
  8. Licenced riders have two numbers to be pinned on the back of the jersey.
  9. Lining up with you @Frosty, but not as accomplished as you.
  10. For the licenced riders, do we ride with both thewhite FT board and the Yellow Race No board, or only the Yellow Race No board? The information I am getting from people are contradictory. I have also asked the question on the event WA no.
  11. At least no Dude running around trying to hand out Beetroot Juice ...
  12. No signage ... From N1 South left on Nasrec Rd (You should see a big Adendorfs building on your right after you turned) About 800m down the road is a 4 way stop, turn left Continue straight and you'll see FNB stadium on your right, with cars parked...
  13. Just back from there. I took the Nasrec road of the N1. Expo is about the same as last yr. Not much ...
  14. 2:55 - 3:05 ... (Provided there's no mechanicals etc)
