  15. This thread is crying out for an injection of fire, something that will keep this thread going for at least another 20 pages, a broad sweeping statement, thoughtless and unfounded, uttered in the heat of the moment... It is rumoured that CWC bring their cheap imports into the country in suit cases, bypassing customs and avoiding the heavy duties on imports, transferring the money they cheated SARS out of on to their customers as a saving. At our Christmas Day lunch I asked my uncle Trevor what his view was on this sort of 'smokkeling' and he assured me that such criminal activities are viewed in a very dim light. I was surprised that he referred to it as criminal activities but then again, Tax evasion is a criminal offence. But I quickly had to pretend that I didn't know anybody from CWC just in case I became implicated in abetting these nefarious crooks. All Trevor's words I promise...
  16. Rich Indian kids? Dude, I'm a Bruin Ou and Trevor Manuel is my father! That explains the money, now, about your software problem... PM me if you want help!
  17. Hmmm... maybe the time has come for me to go Campy Record! Just love those cranks!
  18. So what are you saying? Shimano cables but the cable housing is your choice or Shimano cables and Shimano housing? Either way, I couldn't give a toss what cable is running in my housing but you are going to have a tough time convincing me that Nokon or I-Link cable housing is bad for my STI's, especially when they are in use at the pinnacle of this sport... So, what are you saying?
  19. Only because I am bored and have nothing better to do... By the way, where is Steven? Please Hubbers, indulge me for a minute. Could you please all reach for you January 2008 copy of Bicycling Magazine, turn with me to page 46. Here we have a photographic representation of a certain Mr Fabian Cancellara astride a Cervelo Soloist SLC-SL, rigged out with FSA carbon bars, a cruddy aluminum FSA stem, Zipp 808 rear and Zipp 404 front complete with Shimano Dura Ace groupset. Now, please stay with me Hubbers, this is tedious I know, but I will conclude shortly. If we look closely at Mr Cancellara's cables you will notice that he is using a shiny silver material for his braking cables, front and back. At a glance I would say they are Nokon cables. Now, if these cables are good enough to be used by Mr Cancellara, whether or not they damage his Shimano braking system, STI's or affect his drive train, then I will say they are good enough to be used by the masses. I really couldn't care if Pro Teams change their cable housing and STI's for every race, I will still use them since this is a phenomenal endorsement of the product and I couldn't give a flying Huckleberry who says what about them being detrimental to the health of my sh*tmano STI's... Warranty? Bah humbug... Pantani2007-12-31 05:52:56
