  1. My wife is very impressed with "Polar's" new cycle computer. She says the yellow is really cool and didn't know how to tell me that the massive Polar wrist unit was just plain ugly! I'm glad I decided to upgrade my Polar 720i to the "Polar" Powertap model... Wonder where she got the idea that it was a Polar upgrade from? Oh well, as long as she likes the yellow! http://www.powercoach.ch/image_prod/powertap_computer.jpg
  2. Yes, quite true BMC, if you prepared to spend Dura Ace money then you may as well buy Campy Record. I'm also contemplating going the Campy Record route.
  3. I dunno about that... Having ridden both grouppo's for a while I think the Ultegra is pretty good and can't complain about it, sh*tfing is precise and smooth. For me it works just as well as Dura Ace. I think keeping the groupset well maintained helps too and the Ultegra is certainly more rugged than the Dura Ace. If you're not the sort of rider who buys a new groupset every year then I would go for the Ultegra...
  4. Gary!!! This is the schizz nits!!! I hope you aren't going to have to starve that unborn baby and deny it breakfasts at DQ! Very nice Bianchi! if only Barloworld shared your fine sense of style!
  5. Where were you? And why didn't you join us for a healthy dose of pain!!! It got a bit out of hand once we passed Montgomery Park going up Long... I think Bruce was showing off! Anyway, Nigel Laver punctured on Ontdekkers and it seemed like a good excuse for me to tap off! Bruce rode off into the sunset, or sunrise, which ever you prefer.
  6. Nooit my ou! Bianchi is a very nice bike, almost bought the White Liquigas 928 bike a year ago. This one, I don't know, looks cheap. Hopefully by the time their season is in full swing they might come up with some livery that suits the frame and the team... Right now, Aikona baba!
  7. Bwahahahaha.... And I struggled this morning, I should get a complimentary Bulk Meat Packers kit for the way I'm packing!
  8. OK, since everyone is jumping on this bandwagon, PAY ME, and I'll consider adding it to my 2008 rides...
  9. I don't know what to say... Honestly... I think they ruined a very nice frame!
  10. O well' date=' just keep it in mind.. Always good to know who to contact. You never know when you might need it. ...and believe me it works...[/quote'] Every time I look at this name Texas Sally my eyes cross and all I see is "Sex and ... " Well just SEX...
  11. I'm looking to buy a pair of running shoes. Not planning on running a marathon but hoping to build up to running a 10K. Any suggestions on what to get? I don't have much of an instep so the shoe needs to provide good arch support. I probably pronate but judging by the wear on my cross trainers and existing running shoes (never run a kilo in them) I seem to wear shoes pretty neutrally. So, any suggestions? Quite like the look of those Asics Gel-Kinsei
  12. Sies.... now we have big blokes making eyes at Pooh Bear??? What's next? My Little Pony on the centrefold of Penthouse? Caramba!
  13. yes, same principle, buying a hemorrhoid gel called "Ring Sting".... It's supposed to heal and protect, not leave you feeling like you've been in the throws of coitus with a pansy Samoan who happens to have a Pineapple for a love wand! Not a love wand a "prickly pear" prickly pear, Pineapple, it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other! End of the day I'll still have very very very bad Ring Sting! Pansy Samoan - I think you mean Fa?afafine, usually around 6 foot tall 100 - 120kg. Quite a sight!!! My point exactly, they only come in 3 sizes, XL, XXL and XXXL

  16. lol.... I have been sitting here trying to make sense of the unusual name... Retina Burn.... It can only be compared to buying a scrotal shaving cream called "Flaming Balls", said to leave the user with a slight tingling sensation, always fresh! Retina Burn! Goodness me!
  17. OK, I will take a pic after Christmas, let's say Jan 2nd or something, I should have lost all soft chubby bits by then!
  18. Huh! Your man???? Why don't you give my missus a call, she could use some advice on Christmas gifts! Like that golf ad I heard on TV over the weekend, Soap on a rope is sad, even the soap hung itself!
