My wife is very impressed with "Polar's" new cycle computer. She says the yellow is really cool and didn't know how to tell me that the massive Polar wrist unit was just plain ugly! I'm glad I decided to upgrade my Polar 720i to the "Polar" Powertap model... Wonder where she got the idea that it was a Polar upgrade from? I dunno about that... Having ridden both grouppo's for a while I think the Ultegra is pretty good and can't complain about it, sh*tfing is precise and smooth. For me it works just as well as Dura Ace. I think keeping the groupset well maintained helps too and the Ultegra is certainly more rugged than the Dura Ace. If you're not the sort of rider who buys a new groupset every year then I would go for the Ultegra...

I'm looking to buy a pair of running shoes. Not planning on running a marathon but hoping to build up to running a 10K. Any suggestions on what to get? I don't have much of an instep so the shoe needs to provide good arch support. I probably pronate but judging by the wear on my cross trainers and existing running shoes (never run a kilo in them) I seem to wear shoes pretty neutrally. So, any suggestions?
