Has anybody done this before, since there are nobody in SA that sell Trial bikes!! I want to know are there import duties payable on complete bikes? I dont know why I think there is, but there calculator thingy on their website says Bicycles are duty free except VAT and a handling fee maybe. Oh and yes I'm still looking for a trial bike if you know of somebody in SA that want to sell his.

I think this is what most cycle shops want/trying to do, I cant believe for one moment that they open a shop with the intention to give k@k service. But its not always possible to make everybody happy. Let me start by giving you good advice, good prices that can compete with online stores, well trained honest mechanics, good customer skills. If you have those three you will make it.

This is exactly why a bikeshop wil never see my bike, I'm scared they replace my parts with more used parts that you will not notice at first glance.

I have a tubless setup I cant remember when last I had a punture i think it must be 4 years back. I live in the western cape, lots of devil thorns on the farms and its not a issue anymore. I have to plug big holes, but it takes less than a minute to do and then I can go again.
