Strange, my tyre was also a Kenda!

Happened to me once in my bedroom....hahahaha EVERYTHING was covered in stans. Same thing also tried to seat the tyre, in my case it was the rims, I always struggled to seat my tyres until I got Stans rims (ZTR olympic and now Crest) and my problem was over. Its so easy to seat tyres on stans rims, I will never use anything else, its to frustrating struggling to get your tyres seated!

Your front chainrings are the wrong size, i did the same thing also went 2X9 but you cant just take your big blade off, what is the use in that. You loose a lot of speed. I bought myself a (i think) 38 or 39 "middle blade" and a 26 small blade from starbike chainrings (brand Specialites TA)google it, its very nice rings!

I use them to change hand possition and mostly when climbing. I tried to go without them but cant so they are back on my bike.

I had a momsen SL929 there was nothing wrong with the quality of the frame. There is just one thing they should consider, and that is to put a metal insert in the frame (carbon) where the chain touches the frame in the event of chainsuck. I know santa cruz, specialized etc already have that in some of there frames.

To run 11hrs, crazy. I did it for free when I was in school 10years back. Hiked to stormsriver ran the otter and hiked back home. Was great fun. There was a 2 year waiting period to hike it, so I said stuff that i'm doing it now!
