  1. My advice...wees net versigtig vir die bees wat jy eet voor en tydens die epic.....
  2. There you go! that is the attitude! Sure you will manage it.
  3. Just looking at your avatar makes me laugh! Enjoy, wish I had the cash.
  4. Where did it arrived? Nowhere I was looking.
  5. Is the VIPA available yet anywhere in SA?
  6. Yes i'm sure weightweenieness is a disease...a very costly one.
  7. Why not a KCNC, they are light. Like I said the SAVE posts are not really light, if I remember correctly.
  8. Nice, and your current seatpost weigh a ton, even the cannondale carbon one is heavy, I got myself the Easton EC90 2nd hand on the hub for cheap, and they are light. And like you said you can do the wheels, bar etc. you will get it close to 9kg. You made it sound like you swopped the 180mm for the 140mm, glad to see from your pick that its not what you had done.
  9. Yes that is super light!!
  10. Nice, but R3k for a seatpost is a bit steep!
  11. There is a large Sworks Epic in the classifieds for R50k maybe he will take R45k.
  12. How many kg's if I may ask?
  13. My thoughts exactly, if its not a race I would not mind anybody sitting in my slip, I mean when you go out for a ride alone, surely you are prepared to ride alone, if somebody want to sit in your slip what difference does it make, its not a race, besides you are just getting stronger.
  14. At the Cape Outback this year Specialized made the bikes available to the riders if they wanted to do a stage with it.
  15. Its like that saying about brandy (which I dont agree with by the way) "at any price it will still be a bargain"
  16. I'm not sure but I think most of the cracked anthem frames were 26ers.
  17. just the wheel???? and now one of the complete bike? Look very cool!
  18. And the bigger the deposit the better the interest rate. Play the banks up against each other for a better interest rate.
  19. Get a secondhand bike (large or extra large frame) and ask yellowsaddle to build you a set of wheels. My guess is the wheels that will come standard on a R8000 bike might not be strong enough.
  20. He is prepared to do the time, did you not read properly??
  21. Obviously you did not read the whole thread.
  22. Hyt sy gat af geval!
  23. I have I think its Shimano 105 arches on my Giant TCR. I cant seem to "centre" them properly, they always tend to go to one side then the one pad rub against the rim. Am i suppose to tighten them somehow so that they stay in the middle, I see there is a nut that I can turn just behind the arches but that does not seem work? The back wheel seems to be fine. Any advice?
  24. Haha you have nailed it on the head....that new stupid looking epic fanny pack comes to mind.
  25. Which one is that?
