    visiting the inlaws on the coast so it is a must to take the bike with(some alone time)

    Firstly is it a SABS approved towbar? Did it bend or did it break. Some pictures would help

    Works ok if you stick to roads(tar or gravel) but have not used it for trails.

    Is the route the same as Mica 2 Provinces from this year?

    Buy any SKF or Timken or any of the top brands and they will be perfect. I find the even the cheaper ones work great BUT the dust seals on them don't last as long and thus they fail quicker than the top brands. The Top brands at BMC or SKF will still be cheaper than at your LBS.

    Truly a lekke race with a bit of everything, singletrack, some sand, loose rocks, gravel roads and some climbing.

    Service and by that I mean quick service. Maybe I just got spoilt when I was living abroad. Order today and get shipped today. I know postal services around the globe differ. and I am not talking about when it gets delivered but when it leaves you shop. If I order before 12 I would like it to leave your store that day.

    Did my first Marathon on Saturday and have to say I feel very chuffed having come in at 4:43. Managed the route well but got to say the downhill's are to technical for my current skills and will have to work on that as they had me killed. Its a good challenge. Will be better prepared next yeaR

    Liked the race. well marked, well stocked. Decided to cycle home.....hmmm legs complained a bit then haha. Now I wonder if I will the do the next one as I will have a BIG "babalas" ( = friends wedding night before)

    I haven't done any Halfs that have been technical(don't think there is a lot) so you should be fine

    Doing the Half. Looking forward to it. Mostly I am looking forward to the drinks with my mates from PTA afterwards

    Also did the 30km and have to say really enjoyed the race, well organized and well marked. Great single track lovely climbs and "lekker downhill called mine shaft" will be back next year.

    Not really related but for interest. In my younger days I loaded baggage at Gatwick airport. And let me tell you I have seen some blokes at the loading bay trying out some nice Bikes . Problem is that you don't want to wait too long before you check it in cause they might tell you its full but you don't want to check it in to early as then it spends ages at the back there........

    I did the half and really enjoyed the race. Climbs were fine but the last 10km really killed my. Will be back next year
