  1. Pretty impressive Bruce Quickly downloaded my data for the TT - My norm power was only 307. My partner wasn't feeling well at all, so I had to go pretty slow up all the hills (especially the last 4 or 5km), but hadn't it been for that I think I could've got it much higher. I don't really do TT's in training, so I don't have anything to compare it to though. Would like to see wat Andrew's stats looks like
  2. The mixed teams were impressive - The girls (especially An-li and Jo) had some good bunch positioning, always moving up to the front part of the group when it was possible. Some good improvement by An-li, because I remember she wasn't fond of descending and bunch riding in the past, but she managed very well this year.
  3. Funny thing about that hot spot (or KOM) - There was no line, so we just had to keep on sprinting all the way over the top, hoping to stay in front Was worth it though.
  4. Praat met Henning. Hy ken mense daar.
  5. Take both of them - They are total opposites and both will create a positive image for your brand. Fire is a pretty lady and a serious racer from one side of the country, while Wolverine is a very relaxed, all-round nice guy from the other side of the country. Put an option on your poll giving people an oppurtunity to vote for 'both' - I'm sure that will get the most votes.
  6. Go read Daryl's account on his website - He says it was deliberate.

  8. If you can read Dutch you can try http://wielrennen.prikpagina.nl/ Has a lot more information w.r.t. the pros' racing (all the teams, classics, tours). A word of warning though, the Dutch are much more sarcastic than anyone you'll find on the hub.
  9. Net Jaco, of Jacques ook? Good luck
  10. Awesome! When is the next nations cup race/tour?
  11. Think Burry has these http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_iUEJYohba4Q/SahozEslwZI/AAAAAAAAAkg/ghAQlrBnJsY/s400/Jawbone_InfraRed_Bty.jpg

  13. They're called the Oakley Jawbone. Hincapie and Hushovd got them during the 2008 TDF and they were launched in SA the week before Argus this year. Most Oakley sponsored SA pro's have them now, so they should be ion stores soon.
  14. Where are their skin suits???
  15. Chris Jennings and Stefano Maiorana got away and crossed the line together.

  17. Cool photo Ronelle Looks like I'm even suffering on the descent.
  18. Correction: He IS a good rider! Is this guy a Junior still? Did he win Stage 4? He is a junior (current SA road champ in fact). Finished 5th on stage four, ahead of many good professional riders. Verry impressive talent
  19. Good to see Van Zyl still fairly high up on GC. Fourth out of all the South Africans- Impressive!
  20. Dude, come on, burns on a bumper don't necessarily indicate cheating. Almost all the pro teams do motorpacing (outside of racing) as training for speedwork, and then burn the bumper with their tyres - Means nothing. You'll find tyre burns on cars that don't even get used in/near races - It's part of training.
  21. Good one for Van Zyl. Super talented rider. Congrats Barry
  22. Got our licences more than a week ago.
  23. Memory like a sponge when it comes to cycling. Not so much when I have to recall stats theorems though
  24. Burry Stander and Bunnie Loubser if I'm not mistaken. Great photo sequence of it somewhere... that's the very one. i was there and saw itdoes bunnie still ride? haven't heard his name much. It was 2003 at the Pretoria Nationals. Happened to be watching. Bunnie Quit late in 2004, but he actually rode Nationals at Jonkershoek this year (he studies at Stellenbosch). Finished 17th if I recall correctly.
