  1. Ok. Just kill the lot. Or at least drag them. While we're at it, let's do some pedestrians as well - they didn't pay license fees to use the roads. Lekker place this! H. I'm sure the Capie would have used some very colourfull words and signs had anyone hooted.
  2. Yes! Someone must please post a video clip of a cyclist being knocked down/dragged while we're at it.
  3. I must say I'm getting sick of the situation myself. My wife freaks out with every ride I do, long or short. It IS dangerous out there, and I don't like it. I'm a road cyclist and not a MTBiker. What now? The minister of transport will probably say: "If you don't like it, you whining white, leave the country!" Well I may just take up the offer....................

  6. Thanks! Tough swim with strong currents and HUGE swells, hard bike in a strong south-westerly wind. I managed to keep the time I wanted untill halfway through the run.........and then the nightmare started. Well, I finished but I'll do a lot more running for the next one. Regards
  7. I still say dear Rob is innocent! He picked his nose, flicked the booger away, and by accident hit the spectator. Later when he went back to apologise the spectator simply wouldn't back off, and the situation got out of hand a bit. See, different spin on the story!
  8. I think the spectator showed great restraint!
  9. Must have been that guy he hit with the booger! I would also hate people who shoot me with boogers!
  10. Ag man! He just picked a booger out of his nose and then out of good manners looked back to make sure he doesn't hit someone when he flicked it away......................
  11. Bianchi has several models, Alfana, Eros Donna (made for shorter women), Forza, Giro, San Mateo, etc. etc. all have a 44cm size. The smallest custom bike I found was a Serotta MeiVicci, at 45cm C-C. It's an all carbon custom job and it's pricey!
  12. Try the Limar helmets as well. Mine works great, fits well, lots of air vents to cool you!
  13. Hey go do some hill sprints! That should tap your power badly!
  14. Shimano had these ovalised rings 15 years, or so, ago. It makes a 52 into a 53 on the down push of each leg and a smaller ring with the top and bottom part of the rotation. Still have a set lying around. It works. But going from 172,5 crank to a 175 works even better for me. I also used to struggle setting up the front derailure with the large chainring not being round, had lots of rubbing going on!
  15. Let's say you've pumped your tires and made sure of your aero position, then whats left is to get your bearings right! Every second counts!
  16. No matter what the weather, you'll have to ride anyway! Just enjoy the day!
  17. Just don't go into the water when you get to the beach, LOTS of Great White Sharks!!!
  18. Fulcrum Racing 1
  19. Assos Uno. First Ascent.
  20. You have a great frame. Titanium is always a long term investment and you should just build around it. I would pay some $$$ towards a pro setup, it will probably change your h/bar and stem. After that invest in some new wheels, rather spend a bit more (remember you're not changing the frame!), Reynolds DV goes for 12,5K they're light AND strong (people do cyclocross with them) and to top it off they're FAST.
  21. I ride Litespeed, just check the tires
  22. I check the route before the race................
