  1. I am running Conti Speed Kings in a Supersonic bead at the moment, running them with a TCK, tubless converion kit, work fine. Touch Wood.
  2. Contact CVANC on the hub. He is a Coach, not too shabby at that.
  3. 100 PSI in positive and negative chambers.
  4. Smarties...yum
  5. Look out for bearing and freehub wear as well as nicks in the rims and bent spokes. Basically, everything. Not sure you will get a pair for 3 grand though.
  6. I have a Mountain King at the Front and a Speed King at the back, best combo ever. 800 minium wear.
  7. Dude you rock. ........sealer, clear-coat right, ontop or under decals.....
  8. K, you win. Okay imagine that fork on the left hand side of the bike. Hey presto, Lefty.
  9. Thanks for the advice DR, really appreciated. 2 more questions then I'll leave you alone. What primer should I use and how does one clean the fork up afterwards? Bog roll and meths?
  10. A lefty is a single sided suspension fork made by cannondale
  11. I think they do a red version
  12. Blimey, what grain. Not emmery paper please. How do you reckon I get all the paint outa em nooks and crannies behind the crown.
  13. DR - What do you suggest I use to de-paint, as it were, the fork.
  14. Yes, they were supposed to be Red, my father went temporarily colour blind when he bought them. No Comment.
  15. They look very similar to the old XTR M960's. I'll wait till the second generation comes out. I'd rather CBs iron out the kinks in their products.
  16. Encouraged by Minty's Titus redo I reckon its time to re-paint my Reba. I can get decals through Cape Cycle Systems. The thinking of gowing Minty's route and using paint stripper on the fork and then using 2K auto to re-paint. What do you all think of this idea. Any other suggestions. Lastly what colour? I was thinking of a white crown and white sliders with World Cup decals. NB - Brother for sale, Dog not for Sale
  17. Yeah I figured, used to be a 1000 though. Did it not? Racer X2008-05-04 11:27:54

  19. I see I got this relationship off to a good start, hmm.. wait, damn your on the other side of the country.

  21. Here's is an idea for a 29 tooth chain ring, take the outer diametre and tooth pattern of a middle burn duo spider/chainring. Then trace the inner circumference of your present chainnring, include the bolt holes. Ammalgamate the two sketches so that you end up with the 29 tooth pattern on the correct BCD. Now what alu to use, any ideas? I am quite sure that a engeneering works will cut the design out.
  22. DR- do TA have an SA distributor?
  23. Thanks
  24. What crankset are you using, where are you getting a 29 tooth ring from. I ask because if you are using a hollowtech 2 crankset you will also have to take a spacer out, drvie side, so that the 2nd ring sits closer to the frame, this will stop the chain from dropping as often. I also run an XTR crankset and would like to know where u are getting 29 tooth rings from?
  25. Anyone have their e-mail addy? Thanks
