  1. Mine run down the inside, never had a prob
  2. You lot are just soft, just ride in standard bibs and swear allot when ever you go down a hill.
  3. Bit of a harsh ride
  4. Yeah I was about to say 2.75 lbs is 1.25 Kg, the Scale LTD frame comes in at 800 and some thing grams
  5. Sounds like your rotor could be the wrong size.
  6. I wonder what's going to happen to the supposed carbon crankset.
  7. Wonder how it compares to a Scale LTD
  8. Yes, please do. Preferably of the GF then the bike. NB - Clothing on GF optional
  9. I think they are made by Azonic, not sure if they have a rep in this country though.
  10. I'd go for the GT. The Pro retails for around 20K. I reckon that it has two things going for it. > Colour, you gotta love that green. > Its pretty rare.
  11. what of, the bike or GF?
  12. Come to think of it, the XT's also have red nipples. Hmm, his seems to be a recuring trend.
  13. XTR has red nippples
  14. Yes many thanks, so bascially, everything and anything that looks like it has a sticky backing then. Oh yes, if you need decaling done ask Mampara, very obliging guy who has endless patience.
  15. Okay thanks Mampara, I'll get you the MC logo ASAP.
  16. Dirt Breath, that would be very kind. Looks like we have almost everything with the exception of the Blackbox decal on the crown and the and the "World Cup Logo," on the fork arch. I have a pic of the MC logo that I must just mail to Mampara. If you could just take some pics of the 2 area's highlited in blue I would be very gratefull. Great White - Would do but the 08/09 RS forks now occupy that page. The 07 SID and Reba World Cups have both been discontinued.
  17. Jeez Dylan, stop making me blush ;-) Conti as far as I am aware do 4 beads on their tyres. Wire - Cheap ass end verision of tyre "x" Supersonic - Superlight version of tyre "x," has limited protection. Protection - Standard foldable version of tyre "x," with added puncture resistance, slight weight penalty. Tubeless - Tubeless tyre, lots of puncture resistance, weighs a ton.
  18. 2.4, inches, indicates the width of the tyre. Whats your budget. At the moment I am really enjoying Conti's Mountain King up front in a 2.2. You could go for a 2.4 back and front in Protection casing.
  19. Seen one in the flesh, or is that leather. It was very heavy and that elastic centre was very soft. No support at all. Me thinks SLR/Aione/Gobi.
  20. I am more of a DBS man myself. That said I would not turn my nose up to a new Carrera, spelling/
  21. As Specialized is his main sponsor he has to ultimatley use their equipment first. Tyres, saddles, etc. That said the new Spech fork is rumoured to come in at less than his DT, 1340 grams. No idea why he was using a SID at the epic though. That frame is a beaut though, comes somewhere in the sub 2kg region. Scrubs 160's come in at 58 grams, 1 gram lighter than than the No Tubes one ;-)
  22. Yes thats the theory. I prfer Scrub rotors to the Stans ones though.
  23. They are both made by Stans/No Tubes. http://www.beyondbikes.com/bb/ItemDesc.asp?IC=kgc-140-39g
  24. The rotors are both made by Stan's No-Tubes. The front is a 160 and the rear a 140. IS that an exsisting Spec tyre?
  25. Hi Guys, I am having my Reba reapinted and Mampara has very kindly agreed to design the decals for me. He needs a few pics of some of the logos. Would it be possible for those of you out there who own such a fork, to photograph the relavent logos and mail them to me. Logos needed are outlined by red boxes. My email addy is underwd at mweb.co.za
