  1. When did you ride legend, midday, morning? I normally start rides like that before four in the morning. That way I can conserve alot of my juice for when the day heats up. I don't think its that ridiculus. Last year CVANC raced a DC on 2 bottles now thats impressive. I am just base training.
  2. What are you all complaining about, to buy the equivalent brakes for an mtb, disk, you are looking at 7 grand.
  3. why not, 3 x 750 ml bottles, 2 on my bike and 1 in my back pocket. If you leave at 3.45 in the morning to escape any sort of heat then your'e fine.
  4. Half a packet. I only ride wit hit on 150 km plus rides when the legs are starting to wobble.
  5. Well I mixed my 500 ml of water with one packet of Rehydrate, 1 teaspon of table salt and two teaspoons of glucose powder, road 200 Km, got back and was able to walk in a straight line, not too bad. just make sure you don't drink a large amount at once, the salt can get to you. Thoughts?
  6. 1ktt - Did it myself just followed the instructions. Pantini - well as I don't use shimano I guess it proves something about shimano, maybe steven should read the post.
  7. base - 30ish hours a week, so anything up to 1000 Km, on a very good week. Power + general training - bout 40 - 80 km a day. so bout 400 a week
  8. Williehond use it sparingly if you use a paint brush and just spin it through and then rinse it off then youre singing, if you splash parrafin all over your freehub then you need your head analyzed. Note: Did not direct this to williehond in person
  9. what big h said, sorry mate did not see your post.
  10. Just make sure you don't drench your freehub in degreaser.. Its Nasty.
  11. clean the chain on the cassette with a brush and parrafin. Kill 2 birds with with stone.
  12. I have no prob with my Mtb weighing the same as most rd bikes
  13. Have just ridden both bikes with my new I-link/Powrecordz set up and all I can say is WoW, I didn't know that my gears could work so well. Also dropped over 60 grams a bike. Major bling factor helps as well.
  14. No calves the new dt swiss is the new pace. dt bought out pace instead of spending the money on r&d. Just restructured and lightened the enternals. Alternatively buy a SID world cup and a hack saw. Take the fork apart, cut off all the alu that is not needed and put it back together, my mate did it to his and got the fork down to 1200 grams, voided the warrantee but hey...
  15. no calves is right the new DT Swiss XCR 80 fork is about the lightest that you can get, Go lefty's fork is designed with a 1.5" steerer tube though, I think. XCR 80 - 1340 grams Price - 11.5k Very nice, super plush and bl$$dy pricey.
  16. Waste of your hard earned cash, use a power link, a tin of parrafin and a paint brush.
  17. buy and IDT and then do what big h suggests, good motivation.
  18. I forgot to mention that I am getting I-link. CB is that a ti frame?
  19. Jason, getting 2 gear systems and one brake system through my LBS. Getting in black for my TCR and Red, very much like carbonboy's, for my Mtb. I shall be running these cables http://www.iodupont.com/powercordz_reasons_to_buy.html
  20. Jason and CarbomBoy what are prices on the two, can you remember?
  21. Okay so I want a few bling cablesets for my MTB and road bike, which is better, lighter and cheaper. Nokon or Alligator's I-link? I have the cabling, (Powercordz) and just need the housing. What are your views?
  22. Hey RC I hope you find your much loved companion, if you find the sod who did take him/her please castrate with a blunt machette. As far as I am concerned pet theft should be a capital offence.
