  1. What is that in Watts?
  2. Heading should rather read, "dropped him like a hot potato!" Flipen impressive performance.
  3. You're suppossed to wear a flanel shirt, not shorts - that's for golf
  4. Haha no that would be a shame!! DHF on the Tranny
  5. I run an ardent 2.4 on the Front and Ardent Race 2.35 of my XC hardtail, and it serves me well. The Ardent isn't my favourite tyre on the front but I use the bike on tar and dirt so I guess you have to compromise somewhere - it rolls reasonably fast and grips okay. If I knew it was a dirt only bike I'd replace it with an Aggressor 2.5. But if you want skinwall your options are very limited. If I were you I'd focus on getting the right tread pattern rather than skinwalls.
  6. It's Tuesday, all bets are off haha. I would stay off this thread, or the internet for that matter if you don't want spoilers
  7. I'm guessing another spin-off with Arya expoloring west of Westeros? They set that up shamelesly....
  8. Onza Canis or Svelt 2.25 are great rear tyrer....
  9. Since Maxxis are a bit narrower than they claim I am gonna suggest slightly wider tyres: - Front: Maxxis Aggressor 2.5 - Back: Maxxis Ardent Race 2.35 That combo should roll lekker fast on a Jack of all trades bike, but still give enough grip up front.
  10. Hahaha no, I don't think he will!
  11. Yeah, but social media allows these people to actually make a living without contributing anything of worth to society. Sure, there are some entertaining Youtube channels and Instagram accounts where people are putting loads of work in, but most of it is just a load of rubbish.
  12. Haha not really about ruining the kid'a life, it's about how dam awkward it is wayching it with your parents or kid. Hell, I know my future kid is gonna watch a sex scene or two without ffwd it, but I am dam sure not gonna be there when it happens!
  13. Haha that's why I was laughing!
  14. Congrats man! Those NP200s are probably some of the most practical and low maintenance cars around!
  15. I am with you on coloured parts, except black - I love that, on parts like a cassette (nothing against having the option, but give us black or silver too). By JUST giving orange it rules it out as an option for me completely. Oh, and for those saying gold - eagle is gold - that it orange!!
  16. I think she's an early 80's model
  17. This exactly... some boys (and girls) are just drawn to activities normally associated with the opposite gender - and while I think most people realise this, in recent times I think things are too easily accepted as a gender/sexuality issue. Not saying we should go back to the stone ages, but a little more probing into the issue should take place. Eg: Charlize Theron's comment a few weeks back about her very young son saying he is now a girl (sounded like an out of the blue comment), and now she will raise him as such. I mean shyte - as a kid I am sure I did some girly things such as letting an older girl put lipstick on me (I was 5), doesn't mean I should have been raised as a girl. Point I'm trying to make is that I think society has become so scared of not being PC or accepting of everyone and everything that we do not use critical thinking and investigation to situations anymore. If that is applied I think many of the confused young people (read: many, NOT all) may not be as confused as they are at the moment.
  18. Because IF (and I don't claim to know how many cases this is) it is a mental issue, you treat the mental issue, not change the person's gender. In those cases changing the gender does not solve the issue, and even after transitioning the person is left confused and in mental anguish. Understanding why is probably the most important part of the journey - not for others curiosity - but for the individual so they can choose the right path for them to follow.
  19. Pretty much why I don't share my opinion on a public forum like this. I have my beliefs, opinions, ideas, etc. But... I have zero experience with any of this, and although I think the world has gone crazy, I also know there are many confused people out there, that are struggling with real issues I can't even comprehend (applies to sexuality, gender, and the list goes on). In short I don't think our opinions really matter - what does matter at the end of the day is trying to understand these people and at the very least have empathy for what they are going through - whether you agree with it or not. When parents force these things on their children (as I believe many are - it's seems to be the newest trend), that's a different story - one I have alot less understanding/conpassion for. And please don't read this as me saying all kids that are going through this is as a result of their parents indoctrination - I just am of the opinion there are some parents doing some crazy stuff for attention. Anyway, like Odi said, anecdotal at best. And there I go sharing an opinion I said I wouldn't haha.
  20. Okay guys, not doing this to be a ****, but can we keep the conversation going here? https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/182129-the-gender-thread/
  21. I can't say I really want to be part of this conversation (not on the internet anyway), but I just want it off the awesome thread So for those of you that want to discuss, can we keep it here please?
  22. That's 1000 posts, not 100.
  23. Haha surprisingly not with the newer stuff. My fork is sitting at 85psi (MRP Ribbon), and rear at 250psi (Fox Float DPX2). Admitedly - setting up the rear suspension is a drag. The only bike it was not an issue on was the Evil Following MB because it was so progressive.
