  1. Jens does not do drugs. Drugs do Jens.
  2. Would you be interested in taking old tubes and tyres. Mix of road and mtb. Obviously used but still some tread left, seems a waste to chuck out. Cpt area.
  3. Saw this on the One tonner...caused havoc in the paceline.
  4. Fast, furious and a huge amount of fun...I really enjoy this race...Hope the weather holds up.
  5. Very nice! What is the front wheel?

    One Tonner!

That section had me worried! Relatively calm after that though. Seems like a lot of riders that were riding without numbers?
  7. Like it a lot! Perfect commuting machine!
  8. Intervals!
  9. Schwalbe Marathon Extreme. Brilliant on tar, lasts for ever and the tread pattern works well off-road, even loose rocks. Did the commute to town then Table Mountain trails on these in the morning.
  10. +1 for Lezyne. Olympic or Cyclelab.
  11. Cables....the audio equivalent of 26 v 29...For what it's worth, running Qed Silver anniversary in the ht system, vd hul 102 in the stereo system with Furutech balanced interconnects.
  12. Hehe, or your work access card...or to take your sweaty riding clothes out to dry.
  13. Thanks, wil go have a look there. I do turn the light down for runners and cyclists approaching, as I'm sure they'd find the blinking quite annoying!

    MTB weight

Anthem X29er medium 11.3kg, all in.
  15. R239 at Sportsman's Warehouse. Bought mine yesterday.
  17. My steel and alu ss comes in at over 14kgs of fun AND intense training.
  18. How's the WAF with the 2905s? I could never pull that off.
  19. Welcome to the party - sitting on R10 000 in savings!
  20. Enjoy! We'll probably see each other on the commute. Converted mine to SS, added the light and thicker bar as well as Conti tyres....lots of fun and cheap as chips! Running 44x16
  21. Haha, would definately have to do that. Although, I'm an esl guy....highs and lows are overrated! On a more serious note, Diana K, Priscilla Ahn, Rodrigo y gabriela and Johnny Cash always form part of my test session. If a system can replicate the drumming on the guitar front with Rodrigo, I'm impressed. BUT...every now and again it's time for some Rolling Stones or BRMC. PS, I've got the Grado SR60s - really do think that's one of the cheapest ways to get a taste of true music. Add a Woo audio to the mix and you're sorted. Can't imagine what the GS must sound like!
  22. Have you been able to listen to the ML Theos? Considering that as my consolidated loudspeaker set. Love the look of the MLs.
  23. On the Melkbos rd the buses get rather close...but it's the speed at which some people constantly come past that gets to me. With summer here it seems the number of guys that will hook on to your wheel seems to have exploded. At the very least they can say hi?
  24. Have a look at Franco Serblin's creations. Real wood, but as above built up from multiple sections. And remember, quite a few manufacturers specifically go for designs such as thin wall bracing over more rigid designs...enter for example Spendor, of which I am a great fan. My SA1s are some of the most musical I've heard. Of course at the other end of the spectrum you get YG Acoustics and Magico, utilising aluminium.
  25. Dangle, from the VA kit I take it you have had the pleasure of spending some quality time with Schalk? What a gentleman! His workmanship is incredible...had two Exclames before giving if up for Primare kit. You really do have some beautiful pieces there...those MLs must sing! How do you find the SFs on the VA amplification? They can be tricky to get right. I'm at the point where I'm contemplating selling my various sets of loudspeakers for one do-most-of-it set...just can't see myself getting rid of the panels or Spendors. RE Joel, I will never forget the first time I saw his USD waveguides...
