  1. Mine was in the HRC colors. Loved it. I love the Telefonica ones. And the other day I saw a blade in the West colors. Remember the West Honda's with Barros and Capirex? My one mate has a blade that he's turned into a race bike. HRC colors and he rides with a Marquez replica shoei. Such a neat setup. Somehow I've got a soft spot for Hondas. Everyone lusts after Ducati 998's but I lust after the SP1 of the same era.
  2. 1. I had a Honda RVF and those would rattle out if not checked. I suppose a little loctite should have been applied. That same RVF fell off the stand. (don't ask) You'd be shocked at how much damage was done by that silly little topple over. That bike is the only "object" I've ever owned that I truly miss. The motor made such a sweet sound and the bike had so much character. It wasn't as scary to ride as my CBR so it felt ok to belt it a bit. This is the only pic I have of both bikes together. Some TIK KOP low life POS and his mates jumped our wall and stole it along with a whole lot of other stuff. he rode it till it ran out of gas and abandoned it. It was recovered and I got it back but the love affair was over.
  3. If you're still looking I might have. I'll go look in my box of throw away bits tomorrow night.

  5. Sssshhhh! I accidentally looked at flight and accommodation prices. 10k ish. for flights on Turkish and Airbnb prices seem cheap. Could easily go for 10 days for under 25k if one stays away from That BAR.
  6. Stage finish in Chatel right at the bike park. followed by a rest day in Morzine and a stage start in Morzine. Aaaand the biggest linked trail network in the world. Joux Plane and Avoriaz RIGHT there. #justsaying.
  7. Watched the new bond on Saturday night. It was awesome to get out and go and watch a movie in a cinema. HANDS DOWN the best bond movie ever. The car chases were the best I've seen in a Bond. The Italian town where some of the film was shot is just beautiful. The toys were awesome. There were 4 Astons in the movie. Yes 4! A bunch of baddies getting killed. A believable Bond villain and an ending that had my step daughter crying. There's a bunch of nods to previous Bond movies in it which I loved. Yes there was a bit of SJW LGBTQ punting but if you concentrated on that you missed out on a good movie. BEST BOND EVER!
  8. Of the 2 the Schwinn. Nothing wrong with the Cervelo and it comes with the brand cache but the Schwinn is a 2018 vs a 2014. Get some black bar tape on there and you have a very swanky looking bike. Both seem very fairly priced to me. And I think you'll be happy with both.
  9. What is "hand washed"? In all seriousness I wash all my clothing in a detergent for sports clothes. It's a liquid one. I can't remember the brand but it's freely available. And I never ever ever ever use fabric softner. The softner makes a stodgy mess and stank producing bacteria lives in there. Also no cycling kit in the tumble drier ever! My better half also washes our towels with bicarb and vinegar from time to time to break down that stodge from fabric softner. I like my Vye kit. The subtle not too loud not looking like a wannabe pro billboard works for me.
  10. That is true but it's unlikely. This is purely anecdotal but I've noticed a massive improvement in the accuracy of sites like windguru (my go to) over the last 2-3 years.

I really enjoy BSB. The tracks are a little lacking in run off areas and there's some real characters that make the series. For me it's the strongest domestic series in the world. I'm also enjoying the American series (Moto America) with the 2 saffers mixing it up with the Americans and the 2 hasbeens. The tracks are also awesome with loads of elevation changes and big green runoff areas instead of gravel traps. What I find confusing is that it's a bit of a garagista series. You'd expect the US to have the better domestic series.
  12. What does the offer to purchase say? That's a legally binding contract.
  13. Wishing all of you cats a safe and fast ride. Wind predictions for Sunday are looking even betterer than they did last week. To all the uitlanders. Please have an amazing time and spend lots and lots of cash in all of the touristy areas. We need your money.
  14. It's pretty ugly till Wednesday. If you go anywhere near Cape Point don't wear a hat. We're talking 30+ knots of dandruff removing South Easter till Wednesday. Then a front pulls through Thursday & Friday. The weekend looks stellar for the peeps riding. Overcast with light wind. 13 knots SE right at the point which means pretty much windless everywhere else. You couldn't reasonably ask for any better conditions.
  15. We all know he became one of the richest people on the planet by being a nice guy hey? Plus there's a charity named after him so he must be a good guy. Anyone who speaks badly of him is just a jealous loser.
  16. So believe it or not there are a good few youtubes on wood fired heating solutions for pools. Don't ask me why I watched them. The conventional wisdom is that the water needs to be flowing before the fire gets lit.
  17. I like them but I'm not going to get one. I think a lot of guys on gravel bikes are hardened mountain bikers who got a gravel bike rather than a roadie coz they don't want to feel like hypocrites for ripping into roadies all those years. Plus on a gravel bike you can still run your mtb shoes, baggies and peak helmet without looking like a complete toolbox.
  18. Yes but I bet he only ate the vegan options. You know... Saving the planet one mouthful at a time. #Namaste
  19. I watched the Netflix Docci. I was always a Schumi fan. He was always special. Especially at Spa. I can't with LH. Such an unaware twatmuscle. Pontificating about being a vegan whilst doing probably the most environmentally unfriendly profession on the planet. What a jerk.

2 Saffers in the premier class. One of them on a works bike. Who would have thunk it? In other (but very relevant KTM) news Toni Cairoli has announced his retirement from the motocross world championship. The Decarli team and Toni Cairoli have been a huge part of KTM's growth in the last 12 years. And to think they actually got turned down by Yamaha.

On Crash.net they have Daryn Binder as a possibility at 2nd Yam team. Is that a real possibility?

So... Surely if MV was fired from yam Aprilia would have applied the you test an unmarked black bike till January gentleman's agreement that everyone seems to have adhered to in the past??? How do you jump ship like that mid season? The tiny bit of respect I had for that oke is well and truly gone now. I honestly thought he'd be on testing duty till 2022. How is he testing and Racing the bike? I don't get it? Someone who knows please tell me. Anyways. If his Aragon result is anything to go by he should fit mirrors to his bike so he can get out the way when he gets lapped

  24. An AC separation isn't a big deal so he'll be fine soon. He's worked enough miracles this year. He should use the other arm to hit the beers now for a few weeks and on the way home use the injury to lobby for a business class upgrade. Then let er rip next year again. Heal up soon GOAT.
