  1. Einaaa! Thats almost an everesting. Must be brutal on your body. We dont have that kind of terrain this side of SA. Flat and fast. Will plan to come do this one in the future. Looks like fun...and pain????
  2. Hi David. Just want to thank you for the program you developed. Have started using it a month or so ago and find it very useful. Great work!
  3. Saw it was mentioned before. Deleted post.
  4. I think I should try one out. I am very happy with my spez power arc saddle but the normal power saddle were too flat for my anatomy.
  5. Whats your banking details sir? Let me quickly do the eft???? It was another option to ask a hubber to go check the trainer for me. But no need as the guy gave himself away before I got to ask.
  6. ???????????? F'er! His number is 083 596 3457 named as Shaun. This is the first time I went onto gumtree and olx looking for a trainer and then I find the buggers. Cant even remember how many things I bought through bikehub and not 1 problem in any of the deals. I normally make sure before I buy and Im glad I asked on here before I did anything else. Would in any case not have payed before I was sure... but jinne. I see why many get caught. Thank you Nick.
  7. Okay. I asked him if he would be able to get the trainer to a local bikeshop but he cant do that either. Not buying from him for sure! If you use a kicker and the software going withf it and upgraded to a newer version you have to have social media accounts and a profile pic on whatsapp. ???? how else can you show your impressive numbers for the world to see. Am I allowed to post a screenshot of his whatsapp profile on here?
  8. ???? wisdom!
  9. How can I do a safe transaction from a guy in kimberley? He advertised a kickr on gumtree and olx. No hub account and no social media account I can look at. He is willing to give a ID copy but I dont trust that as enough. He also dont use a bikeshop in kimberley and uses the word sir in his whatsapp messages to me. Maybe I already have enough red light here or do someone know him? He said he actually wanted to sell to someone in northern cape who can come look and pay. Pershouse shaun on olx and gumtree.
  10. Yes. I got one thank you.
  11. Some nice builds to be seen. My pictjaaz are still pending ???? When trying to load from my phone the size are too big. My bikes too much for The Hub. (Ill take pics not showing the whole bike. Sure it'll work)
  12. Thats great news! Congrats Matthew. Very talented rider that was found and developed by John I believe. Super that they are working with a big team like UAE and opening opportunities for other Saffas. Well done guys! We have world class coaches and athletes!
  13. I just picked the adapter up aaaaaand....Ladies and Gentleman...it is the right one!???? I bet you can just guess what I'll be doing tonight. I can allready smell gravel, sweat and sun! Have to open up my calender for Saturday and Sunday because there are endless Groads that suddenly outranked everything else ???? (Yeah, I have to get pics on here????)
  14. ???? Bike problems...seems like we all have them. We like the new stuff and they know it. I am happy to say that I am positive that I will have the correct rear adapter within 24h and that the bike will be build up soon ???? I was so eager to ride it that I put together a single speed with flat bar and a front brake last night. Rode around the house a few time in the dark. It was awesome!???? Then I thought...lets test the fork on my other "gravel bike" with drops. Moved it over and then I went out for a few more laps in the dark. That was great too! Mann I cant wait to let it eat some gravel roads!????
  15. I actually like the Cromo fork a lot. Can we buy them seperately? Maybe you swopped one out for a carbon fork and it is lying there without a home?????
  16. I bought one of these Cromo framekits from Farrnus and can say that the quality and desigh is top notch. I am very happy with it. Beautiful paintjob and desigh. Everything I need on a frame that I plan to do many long rides on for many many years and at a great price. The first new bike frame I will ever own. I buy everything used but at this price it was possible for me to get it new. (If there was a weak link it would be me not knowing enough and trying to get away with the lowest budget while building it up????)
  17. Dont think you get adapters available but have seen these selfmade ones.???? https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/353515-flat-mount-brake-to-post-mount-frame/ I see the add have been closed but send him a PM.
  18. I hope to get it comfortable for lekker long hours in the saddle.
  19. Thanks Farrnus. Don't you sleep those hours of the night?????????
  20. Youre gonna have a real nice build I see.???? I am just throwing a few things together. Hope it works. ???? Will be 10 speed 105 shifters and a 36 or 38 oval on crankset. Have a slx rd and hope it can work on a 11-42 cassette. This will have to do the job at first. Peddle harder or faster if it fall short a bit.???? but geese I need to get the thing running...netnou roes hy...????
  21. Can I use a 1x mtb crankset on the frame or do I need a road or gravel specific crank? Q factor, chainline and all those questions...???? Hows your build going gogo@? Are you comfortable on the small frame?
  22. ????Nope! Was sent the wrong one twice now. LBS ordered me one and my sister in law brought me one all the way from a shop in durban. Both the wrong ones... There is one advertized on here but the seller is overseas for a week. Aaargh!! Seems like I will finish the bike before christmas...2020???? And I didn't get the tyres when they were on special...???? Farrnus...please... for the last two days of the month? And its monday today and the Tour is over...and... ????luckily I'm healthy and will be riding my bicycle (not my Farr without a rear brake) home this afternoon so life is good
  23. Great! That sounds right. I also have it like that but was doubting it. Flat mount would be 140mm... I think. Thanks.
  24. Hi Farrnus. I havent checked yet but do I need an adapter on the Cromo fork if I want to use a 160mm rotor? Was it designed to work with a 140mm rotor when the calliper is mounted? I can check when I get home this afternoon but it would be helpfull to know earlier.
  25. Aaah mannn! Struggeling to find the correct brake adapter to finish it off. Have a post mount calliper and the frame is flat mount.????
