  1. Ill have a look. Thanks.
  2. Hi @Charity85. Did you find a way to get these in?
  3. Sjoe well done! Om dit in 8 dae te doen is goed en dan kry jy iets nog meer inspirerend...klaarmaak met 'n lyf wat 72 winters gedoen het. Legend! https://www.instagram.com/tv/CkyYBlJJx01/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  4. How about Pritzen Beers SA team to win the Epic in future?
  5. Leadville and Steamboat gravel this weekend. Good luck mister Matt Beers. https://www.velonews.com/news/mountain/ten-men-to-watch-at-the-leadville-trail-100/ https://www.instagram.com/p/ChEKvBBsmms/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=

  7. True. Nino dont send B-team legs to a race. Just optimistic that our SA riders will rise up. Im not racing but share in the excitement before a big race like this. Lekker to have racing back with international riders also attending. Lets go boikies!
  8. Big fight, Matt and Tristan against Allan and Simon. Matt and Tristan gets the win. Nino and Colombo third.
  9. My bad. Makes sense as its a prologue day. Saw the tracking but no starting time, might have missed it. Good weather for a 3pm start. Temps below 20 according to a quick google check. Riders must be relieved after the day in hell that was Attakwas.
  10. I can also not find any updates on whats happening. Just great for all the sponsors, hey? Its the year 2022, we struggle to get away from social media, profesional cyclists struggle to get sponsored but still I cant get my fix of the big hitters in real time....haibo! Gonna spend less on bikes this month thats for sure🤣(sorry scott, you have wasted your money sending Nino to this long named race)
  11. Tristan Nortje riding a Specialized. The big S everywhere on his kit but no team name or other sponsors...??!
  12. Glad Attakwas is this weekend. Im sure we will know a lot more about where the guys and girls will ride this year. They are surely keeping the secrets well up to now 😉 PS. I see Matt gave his mullet a trim for the heat of atta on saturday. Must have been a big discussion with John...loosing mullet power vs better cooling...🤔🤣
  13. Went out this morning to visit the Vaal river at Schoemansdrift. Took the dun wiele and and had about 6km of gravel road to ride. Seems like they get rain every night in the Vredeford dome. Luckily the gravel is sandy and wel drained after last nights rain, quite thrilling to dodge rocks and holes with a slide here and there in the sand. Nature is bursting with lush greenery and the air is clear and fresh. What a pleasure to be out.
  14. Well done all who finished the challenge. I didnt make it🥴. Had Covid from the 16th and my body showed me he wasnt ready for it. Still not 100 but at least Im riding again. 354 days to build up and then smash it when Dezemba comes. Maybe do a GRIT for training. Cant wait!
  15. Wow! They could save Dougs team with their pocket change.
  16. Sunday's ride had a lot of beauty to be appreciated. Glad I went out after the nights rain. Vredeford koepel on Freestate side.
  17. Im also wondering about these 2. Im sure that John guy is burning to tell us but can't get into his Bikehub account to spill the beans. Ai...🤣
  18. First time I saw this for team ImbukotypeDEV Stuart Marais Rudi Koen Marco Joubert Pier du Toit Wessel Botha Franko van Zyl
  19. I never finished the challenge before but this year Im ready and excited to go for it. So much so that I have the ambitious hope to do a 500km route around Potch that I have planned earlier this year. Its on my bucketlist and why not do it after the christmas food loading. Work goes on as normal so Ill try to finish and rest as its a long weekend. Sounds romantic, what can go wrong?! Can call it the Chrismas GRIT without the 4.5k entry tag.Hehe
  20. Looking for damper internals for a 2015 Rock shox sid 29er to replace my brain damper with. Any reba or sid from 2016 and older will work if you have a damaged fork you want to donate or sell for spares please help me out. Thanks
  21. I am following with interest. Thanks for the write up. I have also been looking at these cells the past month or so. Extreme lights seems to be using a Panasonic NCR18659B cell that they claim to be protected and you can buy them on their site for R345 per cell. I also found this cells available at https://www.batteryexperts.co.za/shop/panasonic-ncr18650b/ but not a protected version with the same number for R181. They also build bicycle light battery packs on demand. Might try them out. Do you know which cells are in your battery pack?
  22. 2021 event coming in at speed!! I think this could be a great event...not easy, but with the enormity of the challenge (Rouleurs) and also the beauty of the area it goes through it is surely going to be a bucket list ride to finish if extreme ultra is your thing. Or just do one of the many shorter distances... Today is the last day to enter for this monster. Less than a month to the start line. 23-25 April. Where is the crazies, let's climb!
  23. I had a good suffer session this morning. Started a bit too hard and paid for it. Will get better with time I believe. Time above FTP definitely hammer the legs after a while. These races will keep the fitness up during lockdown. Thanks guys.
  24. I have a 2.1 Specialized fast track on front and 50mm SK Gravel King at the back. Both very close to the frame. Went through a bit of sticky mud a week ago and it didnt work. Perfect for dry but stay away when there's mud. Love the bike. Have a wheelset for dirt and one for tar with 32mm gatorskins on. Do all my riding with it except raced attakwas on my dual sus.
