    The Epic rules is so full of crap they dont allow swapping a broken bike during a race, which is allowed in the TdF, but then they allow this pushing of another rider like in the photo, this would never be allowed in the TdF! Its lame.

    Make it more like the Tour de France but with smaller teams. It would be awesome to see Kulhavy riding as a team leader going for solo overall win.

    The Epic has a stupid race format, where is the yellow jersey category, the most important 1! 2 Man teams are lame

    To check the bb take the chain off the front rings and spin the cranks freely without the chain. If it still makes the noise its the bb and might need to be replaced.

    Spez tyres are well priced and are made my Maxxis. For a grippy xc setup I would go Spez Ground Control 2.3 front and Maxxis Ikon 2.2 or Spez Fask Track 2.2 rear.

    The over 13kg weight, 14kg ride ready. Pro racers wont touch anything over 10.5kg ride ready, and I am trying to act like one.

    And I enjoy riding a racing bike even though I do not race, I wont like to ride this Scott xc/trail bike, it will feel too slow and heavy for me.
