wheels will make or break a bike . you can have a great frame / bike but have sub std built wheels and it will feel and handle like cr..p . best thing you can do is fit the best wheels you can afford , it will improve the bike more than we can ever tell you .

i agree with you . i say make a detour for the familiy riders ( lots of kiddies, biggeners ect ride at modders ) but keep the obsticals . it alows us to still ride them and newbie's to try them and learn .

single track section down by the river after the tar road . I dont see how the sharp drop is a problem and did not notice any footbridge there , will look next time .

Morning All . As im sure many of you have ridden this great place . im having a small morning rant though ( just a little one ) PLEASE WILL YOU ALL TAKE NOTE OF THE NEW TRAIL DIRECTION ! its was changed many weeks back and there are still some of you ignoring this . i nearly put two of us in hospital this past weekend . when you correct the guys and tell them they going the wrong way the get pissy with you . dont be dumbasses you ganna hurt someone . if you not sure and have ridden the old loop its now reversed ( its not that hard just look at the arrows ! ) Ride safe and enjoy the trails .

JUST PLEASE TAKE NOTE of the new direction at modders ( it changed many weeks ago ) . it seem people still going the old way and not taking note of the arrows , i almost put myself and some muppit in hospital this past weekend when i came bolting down the trail to be met buy some one going the wrong way .

good / cheap / reliable / bright = magic shine MJ872 , i use mine almost every day on my commute plus many night rides at modders ect. Best lights IMO are Exposure and Lupine . but not cheap .
