  1. yes there is subvets in mtb, 30-35 and 35-39 .its a xco official class.i will be racing in one of those classes at worlds .
  2. is training ever what we want it to be , i dont think i have ever heard a athlete say my training is right on track . work, life , sickness, broken rib all these things make it a challenge. race day will present how i was doing i think

  7. hands down the most difficult thing you need to get over or do is learn about yourself and your own body . what works for the one will not work for another . i suggest a training centre of sorts to get you up to speed till you able to take over on your own .

  9. i think its a valid question . no harm asking here . i honestly cant answer you on this though as i ride month in and month out 12 months a year and have been for as long as i can remember so my base is a obvious given . perhaps 3 months good base miles would be good to step up to some intervals . what everyone else say ?

ONCE YOU HAVE BASE MILES UNDER YOUR BELT ! note above ! what is the next step to getting faster and building more power ? intervals 2 perhaps 3 times a week with good rests in-between days is a proven winner although controversial it seems or long 75% rides ? what's everyone's take, I'm curious ? or should I go get a bowl of popcorn for this one .

  16. CSA would have notified you next month if your licence needed upgrading , they will be doing this once entries close and check all entrants are up to spec . you should still get a new licence cad posted to you with your pic on in .

  18. just go online , CSA website and do the upgrade , easy . they will be no day licences issued for this event. R350 to upgrade
  19. forks are for eating , lefty's are for racing . if you not racing buy a fork . kidding . I have both and the lefty is buy far the best bit of bike kit i have ever owned

  21. most frames have a small breather hole somewhere , find it and get a tube of super glue . squirt the super glue into the hole , just a little then rotate the frame till the rivit falls into the spot where you squired the glue in . it will then glue itself to the inside of the frame . its not a way to take it out but a way to stop the rattle .
